Perfect location in the heart of Florence
The hotel is in a perfect location. 10 min walk into the square and Cathedral. Breakfast is served in the hotel across the road. There is a lovely rooftop bar here also. We book a room with a jacuzzi which was very relaxing after climbing so many stairs up the Bell Tower 🔔 😀 Staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room but the little fridge in the room did help. The room was immaculately clean. I would totally recommend this accommodation 😊

Old Bridge was the perfect location for exploring Florence. We would like to thank the fabulous front desk staff at the Hotel La Scaletta across the street. They were really helpful with reserving a taxi and providing us with a lot of information about the City. Their English was great! We will be back to Florence Old Bridge.

The location of this property is great for walking. If you have to use a taxi, be aware that the ride will be a bit longer due to being on the other side of the river and the numerous one-way streets. Plan accordingly and it isn't a problem. The hotel was great at calling the taxi. Staff was friendly and helpful. The small down side was that we had requested twin bed set up and the hotel had confirmed this yet, when we checked in, the beds were set up as one. The hotel sent someone over to re-do them but it would have been nice to have it the way we requested upon our arrival.

Great hotel for an affordable price, amazing central location to all the museums, the Duomo, plenty of restaurants and shops. (12-18 min walk) Hotel is right on the old bridge Street. Only complaint, i wish the beds and pillows in Europe would be more comfortable. Very firm mattress. 4/5

While it is in a great location, the room we got was very small. But that's the price you need to pay for a central accommodation at an average price. However, staff were very great and easy to talk to!

The hotel is located in a very good area, if you like enjoying music at night, and walk around, this place is an amazing match for you. It was suuuuper clean, and the staff was amazing, they even helped us book some tours and gave us best practices to do around the hotel. The restaurant in front is in a rooftop, so it have an incredible view from the city!

Our stay at this place was average. We loved the fact that it was walking distance to many attractions and downtown. Otherwise, everything else about the hotel is pretty average. There was no water left in the mini fridge. The cups that were left were dirty. And the room was very stuffy and too small.

We booked this property well in advance and needed to add a third person to the room. They were not able to accommodate us. We asked for a refund so we could go somewhere else and they refused. They said it was pre-paid and non-refundable. We were not happy but accepted that we made a mistake so we booked another hotel that would accommodate three people. After the visit ended, this property sent us a hateful note stating that we were considered no-shows and we would not get a refund. Why add insult to injury? They already refused to give us a refund and then send us more messages saying that they won’t give us a refund. Honestly, they should have given us a partial refund and then rented the room out to someone else. They would have made money and we would have felt happy about not losing $400. A little flexibility would have gone a long way. I would not recommend booking here due to their lack of flexibility and continued hateful emails. You got our money and ruined our time in Florence. Isn’t that enough?

Hotel staff was nice. They have 2 separate buildings but 1 checkin desk at Hotel La Scaleta. Make sure you go there for checkin. Breakfast was nice and the terrace view amazing.

It was okay
The location of the hotel was a little difficult to arrive if your driving! Also if with a lot of luggage it can be a headache trying to fit in one small elevator. Although the room itself was clean and location of property was okay for sightseeing. Has a nice terrace that would be great for the summer.

Perfect location. Really nice rooms. Friendly staff. Very helpful with parking and extra ordinary guiding out of Florence when we left. Nice view from the rooftop and will absolutely stay here next time.

Complete lie... hotel is divided by a one way single lane street. You can’t even park in front to leave your luggage. Then staff says you have to pay between 25-35 euros for parking. On top of all that they take your car and you have to call everytime you need it. They don’t care about service because they are on prime location. We tried to cancel and staff said no, it’s a non refundable hotel. If you want quality service go to Rosary Gardens Hotel!

Feel like your in a Palace with Boboli garden view
I actually had to move to Hotel La Scaletta because I awoke to construction demolition noise above & around me when I was booked with Florence Old Bridge. But it turned into the most fabulous gift of service as they offered me a fabulous room with a beautiful view of Bobili gardens & much more light. I loved Hotel La Scaletta & the people were so nice!!! They have beautiful bed linens & spa soaps to create that extra special luxurious touch &...the best porter ever!!!
