Adorably provincial, this rustic cottage near beautiful Heceta Beach is a quaint little spot to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation year-round. Beach access at Driftwood Shores Resort, which also includes the Surfside Restaurant, is only one block away. Head down to the shore and fly a kite or watch for whales in the winter and spring. A short and scenic drive south along highway 101, will take you to the stunning Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Watch off road vehicles navigate the sweeping dunes, hike around, or capture some amazing photographs to share with your friends. The interior of the cottage features soothing colors and reclaimed wood accents. This freestanding cabin includes a small sitting area with a rich brown leather couch and a TV with a DVD player. After a day of exploring the nearby ocean shore, you can pop some popcorn and snuggle into the couch for a cozy movie night. When it's time for a bite to eat, the kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, and a small dining area - ideal for heating up leftovers, small breakfasts, or enjoying take-out feasts. Had everything I needed and more. The curtains could fit the windows a bit better and be cleaned. The gate on the side of the house you have to park on should be the one that is used rather than on the other side with those rock steps. Sep 25, 2023 #### Tristan and nicole I booked this little beach cabin for 2 days, we got to the cabin and it was nice and clean, small, but also had enough room for 2, it was enjoyable to be by the ocean as well as have a bed, on the down side, the TV was a bit out of date and glitched out while connected to the not so good wifi connection, and the little electric stove top was a bit out of date and didn't heat up very fast. Definitely a beach shack, perfect for us! Well laid out, very easy to get comfortable, Altho the floor is concrete so took a while to warm up the place. Also the sheets were crusty :/ and we had to change them, but they had extras east to find. They seemed laundered, but not clean. Comfortable bed, but pillows were flat. The wifi was very poor or didn’t work at all. Jan 8, 2023 #### Cute little cabin Really cute small cabin. Has a lot for cooking. The bed was quite comfortable, but pillows were flat. The shower had good water pressure. There were no channels for the tv(there are a few dvds to watch), we found a puzzle in the cupboard which we really enjoyed. The wifi is quite weak and sometimes doesn’t work. Could use curtains on all windows to keep the morning light out. Quick walk to the beach! ##### Kylee F.
