Bargello Modern is a completely renovated apartment that is located on the first floor of a valuable historic building that overlooks the central Via della Vigna Vecchia in Florence.

Very cozy and functional, this apartment is ideal for a family or a group of friends as it can accommodate up to 6 guests.

Bargello Modern is composed of a living area with a well-equipped kitchen (there is an oven, a refrigerator and all the necessary cooking utensils), two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds that can be joined, a complete bathroom with shower and bidet and a second bathroom.

Guests of Bargello Modern will be welcomed as if they were at home and will enjoy many amenities including air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet.

Cet appartement convient très bien à 4 personnes mais le canapé est très inconfortable et le séjour donne au dessus d’un établissement de nuit (discothèque).

Le seul problème c'est l'arrivée en voiture car l'hôtel est situé dans une zone piétonne et on est forcément en infraction pour déposer les bagages. Sinon très bonne prestation.

Location of the property was excellent! Very convenient and walkable to most of the tourist spots. The bathrooms where very small and somewhat awkward, but they got the job done. The only thing that was lacking was the cleanliness. The appartment definitely needed a floor mopping and the shower had mold. But overall the property met the needs of our family of 4.

Fantastic location - apartment came just as described, clean and modern. A short walk from great dining and shopping, thank you! Highly recommend Acqua Al 2 just on the first floor of the building, they had some lovely cuisine!

The property is located in a great location which allowed us to walk around and explore Florence on foot easily. We found the street below the actual residence to be very quiet at night. The place was clean and there was air conditioning in each room. There are two full washrooms but they are very small and tight. We would definitely stay again!

Great Location!

It was a great location and the check in was smooth! The apartment was ready earlier than check in time which was amazing! The apartment it self was cozy but manageable in the bedrooms and main area. The bathrooms were a lot smaller than anticipated. It made it very difficult to shower comfortably or even use the bathroom. The AC was not working in one of the bedrooms and they did provide a number to contact to come out and fix it but we did not want to deal with it since it was not that hot. Overall good stay but too cozy for us.

Great time in Florence

The apartment was great. It was in a great location. It was an easy walk to the Duomo, and The Uffici Gallery. We walked to and from the train station within about 20-25 minutes. The size of the apartment was big enougg for my family of adult kids and me and my wife, 5 in all. It had all the amenities we needed. I would recomend it.

If all you care about is location

Starting with the good, location is great. Right in the center of the historic area, guests don’t need transportation to explore most of the famous attractions in Firenze. Bathrooms are very tiny, but I was ok with that. What really bothered us was that there is no place for the soap or anything you need in the shower, or to hang the toilet paper. Also, the floor looked clean, but the white towel rug showed us that was not the case. Same with bed linens. They seemed clean at first, but when we reached for the extra duvet in the closet, it was filthy, and it brought a scorpion to the bed. Yes, a real, live scorpion. I have pictures of all that but I don’t see a place to upload them for this review. When we tried to reach the company in charge of the place, they were very dismissive, saying that was not common, and the scorpion was “probably not venomous”.

Great location, not in the busy areas where it’s crowded, but not far either. Very comfortable for a family of 5 and possibly even 6 if you don’t mind sharing double beds (2 double and 2 single). We were very happy we booked this.

This property had an amazing location. Close walk to everything. The apartment was decently sized for 5 adults. They left us extra blankets although, they had big yellow stains and hair so we did not use those. They only gave us 1 key which was difficult to navigate for a group of 5 wanting to do separate things. The check in process was smooth as they had someone meet us.

Wonderful Stay in Florence

GREAT location, easy to check-in. Bathrooms were TINY and Showers even smaller, but helped that it was only 1 floor up. There was lots of noisy street activity late at night (if you were using the sofa bed) but bedrooms were in the back and unaffected.

8 days in Florence

The location tops everything else about this property. Less than a 10 minute walk to Santa Croce, the Bargello, Uffizi, Duomo. Many restaurants, from very casual to fine dining in the immediate area, small grocery store 5 minutes away. Good amount of storage in both bedrooms. We had a little difficulty figuring out the controls on appliances and I suggested to Edoardo that he provide written info about operation. There are 17-18 steps but they were manageable by all (including those with slight mobility issues). There was some outside noise at night, but the bedrooms are away from the street and it didn't affect us. We would stay there on our next visit.

Poorly furnished mousehole

This was the worst experience ever with a VRBO listing. Very disappointing. Nothing said about the EXTREMELY steep and dangerous stairs you have to climb. The pictures are misleading - it’s tiny. No place to put any of your stuff in either the tiny bathrooms or bedrooms (taken up entirely by the beds). One bed was unsleepable. The couch (also a foldout bed) was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever sat on, with no pillows to try to make it any better, so you couldn’t really use the living room area, as there was no other place to sit except kitchen table chairs. No paper towels, no condiments of any kind. We left after one night because it was so uncomfortable. The young man who met us and helped us get our luggage up the stairs was very nice, but from there it was all downhill. VRBO should be embarrassed that it lists this place. One person, one night if you were just looking for a place to sleep - maybe, but the price is way too much for that. We asked for a refund but were turned down.
