Welcome to Skyridge Cabin! This beautiful log home is nestled in a private woodsy area convenient to South Asheville shopping, dining, and only 20 minutes to Downtown Asheville. You will immediately feel at home with this cabin as your home base while you go out and explore all the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer.

You are greeted with an open floor plan as you enter, with a living room displaying vaulted ceilings and a stacked stone fireplace. The kitchen has upgraded finishes including granite counters, stainless appliances, and an island with plenty of space to whip up your favorite meals. Another gathering space is located on the lower level with more room to spread out. There are 3 guest rooms, 2 on the main level and 1 on the lower level, each ensures a comfortable sleeping experience.

You'll have a fenced in yard and a large, wrap around deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Gather by the fire pit for s'mores and create memories of your getaway to the mountains!

Pretty solid

Great place, very quiet and secluded location without being too far away. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the sky and wildlife, and the downstairs area was great for gathering and watching movies. My two notes are that the walls provide zero sound barrier and that the driveway can only squeeze two midsized vehicles in it.

A very spacious, well equipped cabin

The cabin was very clean and had a lot other places do not: good supply of coffee, sugar, creamer, filters; spices and some oil; lots of utensils; good instructions and communication.

Wonderful Place

We had a wonderful stay at Skyridge Cabin. We really enjoyed sitting on the large deck early in the morning and evening. The Kitchen was well stocked, and overall, the cabin really had everything we needed. It was conveniently located to Biltmore, Blueridge Parkway and Pisgah National Park....all which we visited. We did have a problem with our Wi-Fi and the company responded in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this cabin. It made our stay in beautiful Asheville very enjoyable!

Happy retreat

Small family stay for the weekend. Immaculate, well stocked home. Enjoyed the porch, admired the firepit but too warm to light. Very woodsy, happy to have a fence so didnt worry about roaming bears.

Christmas Getaway

Very nice stay. Was in a central location for all the sightseeing we were able to do. While we were there the temps were on the colder side and the heat pump system didn’t seem to be able to get the chill out of the air. Took a little time to figure out the propane fireplace, but once that was figured out, and realizing some of the vents to the bedroom had been closed, the place was comfortable. Was impressed with the cleanliness and overall excellent condition of the property. Could very well see ourselves returning to this location in the future.

Ok place to stay

We were excited to stay at Skyridge for our getaway. The location is centrally located to the area we were exploring. The house was very clean and comfortable. We all felt the beds were great but the pillows were awful. We did have an issue with the downstairs tub/shower. It leaked from one of the pipes. My husband turned off the water supply to the tub and we mopped up the water which ran into the hallway. They did fix it the next day but even after that, the design is flawed when you shower because the shower curtain is so long it takes up a little of space in the tub and it doesn't close all the way so you are still getting water on the floor. Ended up having everyone use the upstairs shower. Not safe to use for older adults. And the staircase is quite steep- again just an FYI for older guests. The other issue which should have been mentioned in the listing is the WiFi was extremely spotty on our devices. The TV streaming worked fine using our sign-in - which was mentioned ahead of time. I don't want to discourage people from staying here because it is a beautiful house and you feel like you are away from it all. Just know there are a few issues you may want to consider - they may or may not matter to you

This property far exceeded our expectation. The house is wonderful. Loved the gas fireplace. Kitchen was very well stocked. Neighborhood is quiet and wooded. It is a little drive to get to downtown Asheville. However, it is a easy and beautiful drive.

Description in vrbo was exact. Quiet neighborhood in the trees. We did the blue ridge mountain trail and perfect location. Such a beautiful drive with the autumn leaves. Colors were perfect. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Great restaurants not far away.

Great escape near Asheville

Great location - secluded nice neighborhood on a big hill, but 10 minutes from Lots of stores and restaurants. 20-25 minutes from Asheville. Big lot - never felt like neighbors were too close. LOVED the fire pit with plenty of wood. 2 floors of house worked well with 2 families. Thanks!

Perfect girls weekend!

The communications leading up to the stay were just the right amount and we were well informed prior to arrival. The photos do not do the cabin justice. Everything looks brand new. It was very clean and updated throughout. Upon arrival there was a card and a very thoughtful gift awaiting. There couldn’t be anything done any better. We didn’t want to leave. We would definitely stay again at this cabin

Lovely home and setting. Enjoyed hanging outside on deck early in the morning. Also took advantage of the the quiet streets to get some walks in. Only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville or Biltmore Village and Biltmore property. Multiple good restaurants to choose from. Head to Vinny’s if you love Italian cuisine.

It was situated in a beautiful quiet area underneath and surrounded by a large canopy of trees.The only thing that bothered my family was no blinds or curtains on the windows and doors in the living room and kitchen area; which was only a problem at night. Otherwise; it was a excellent place that fit my family's needs for our brief stay!
