Surrounded by lush forests, the cabin exudes rustic charm while providing all the modern comforts. With three spacious bedrooms and three luxurious bathrooms, this is the ideal space for families or friends looking to reconnect with each other and nature. The cabin's open floor plan ensures that you can enjoy the beauty of the outdoors from the comfort of your living room, thanks to the large windows that flood the space with natural light. Or, just relax in the newly installed Jacuzzi six-person hot tub. The main floor features a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and a full bathroom. The modern kitchen, equipped with granite countertops and state-of-the-art appliances, invites you to prepare meals together before relaxing in the cozy living room, complete with electric reclining sofas. Upstairs, you’ll find a second master bedroom with ample space and a private en-suite bathroom, along with a loft space designed for fun. A variety of games make the loft a perfect gathering spot for all ages, while the futon provides additional sleeping space for extra guests. Outside, a 360-degree wraparound porch offers a peaceful place to relax with a cup of coffee or enjoy the sounds of nature in the evening. Take advantage of both the gas and charcoal grills for outdoor dining, and explore the walking trails that wind through the surrounding woods. We also have a six person hot tub that is available for an additional setup and cleaning fee of $45 (please add to reservation, if you plan to use). For those who love outdoor adventures, the cabin’s proximity to local attractions makes it an ideal home base. Just minutes away, the Blue Ridge Parkway offers scenic drives and hiking trails, while the nearby New River is perfect for canoeing and fishing. Visit Zaloo’s Canoes or River Girl Fishing in nearby Jefferson for unforgettable river experiences. Nature lovers will also enjoy hiking in Mount Jefferson State Natural Area, just a short drive from the cabin. For a family-friendly outing, consider horseback riding at Burnt Hill Stables or exploring the charming town of West Jefferson, known for its art galleries, local restaurants, and the famous Ashe County Cheese Factory. My wife and I vacationed here for a long weekend with our 4 kids and my mother-in-law. We are all big fans of Boone and West Jefferson so the location was a great fit in between. My mother-in-law has limited mobility so being able to pull right up to the entrance to the cabin with only 2 small stair steps to access the porch was perfect. Our two older kids (11&14) were big fans of the loft with pool table and arcade game. Our younger kids are both under 2 so the spacious bedroom upstairs was great for accommodating a couple pack n plays for sleeping arrangements. Everyone enjoyed the 360 degree porch with all its features (swing, swinging chairs, picnic table, and corn hole boards). The fact that both porch entrances were gated made it a great safe space for our toddler to play freely. We loved our stay and the attentiveness of the hosts. The deck seating was the best we’ve ever had and we enjoyed our morning coffee there every day! Front door deadbolt needs to be adjusted a bit, you do have to pull the door closed to help the fancy Yale Nest electronic deadbolt. Again, no biggie. Neighborhood was quiet. I would recommend staying at this cabin/rental to anyone. The owners were very responsive to any question that I had during my stay. The cabin/rental was well furnished, extra clean and very spacious. A great place for two individuals or a large family. I definitely enjoyed my stay and would rent this cabin again. ##### Johnie M. Very clean and set up with two bedrooms on ground level suited our needs perfectly. Brought our two beagles with us and was great that entire wrap around deck was enclosed so they had the freedom to run and not worry about getting away. Great location for what we had planned. 20 mins from Boone and Jefferson. Gene was very responsive to our questions about the property as well as tips of local stores. You have to shop at the Ingles store. Best grocery store ever. Very peaceful location with lots of seating around the deck to enjoy nature and just chill.
