With a huge great room, two lofts, a hot tub, firepit and picnic table, and a yard, you couldn't ask for more! The main level offers a very open layout with a living area with ample seating arranged around a gas log fireplace and a TV. The dining table will seat up to 8 people, and the kitchen features granite counters, a stone backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and four bar stools. There's room here for everyone to relax and enjoy cabin life. The master bedroom is on the main level. Here you'll find a King bed and a private bathroom with a tub/shower. Upstairs are two lofts, connected by a catwalk. The first loft has two twin daybeds, one with a twin trundle mattress underneath that can expand this bed to King size. The second loft across the catwalk has a full and a twin bed. Downstairs you'll find a 8' regulation length slate pool table and a foosball table ready for friendly competitions! A second King bedroom is on this level as well, and there's a new full bathroom with a tiled shower and double vanities. Outside you'll find ample entertainment options. There's a picnic table and a stone firepit outside with a park style charcoal grill nearby, ready for you to enjoy outside dining. The gently sloping yard in front of the cabin is a perfect place for the young and young at heart to run and play! There are two rope circle swings on the lower deck to enjoy, too. Relax away your cares in the soothing hot tub on the lower patio area. And if rocking away your cares sounds like the perfect fit, there are a selection of rocking chairs and a swing for you to enjoy as well. Access to this cabin is very easy year-round! The access is nearly flat and the house has a circular gently sloped gravel drive. Perfectly located just 20 minutes to Boone and 15 minutes to West Jefferson in the picturesque Fleetwood area, Hidden Serenity is waiting for you and your family to come enjoy all it offers! Additional notes: \- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. \- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night. \- PET RENT: $25/nt per pet (max of 2 dogs). Mature, well-trained dogs under 25lb only. \- Returning guests to Hidden Serenity may receive a 5% discount on the rental rates, not to be stacked with other discounts. \- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided \- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am \- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. \- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. \- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. \- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. \- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. \- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. It was perfect for taking our kids to the mountains for the first time. We have twins age 7 and another age 5\. My mother and younger siblings 17 and 15 joined us as well. Neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. It is a quiet neighborhood and felt very safe. The hot tub was enjoyed as well as the fire pit area perfect for late evening s’mores. The accommodations were fantastic. The kids big and small enjoyed being able to explore the woods and some fishing thanks to a gracious neighbor. Another neighbor had some ponies and donkeys who appreciated some hand fed grass and apples for a snack. Definitely perfect for nature lovers. We would love to come back some day. ##### Bethany K. It was very warm and cozy, a perfect mountain get away! The kids loved having the game room with the pool table and foosball. There is plenty of room for the kids to run in the yard. We loved hanging out at the fire pit and roasting marshmellows. Its right off a main highway so it is easy access for travelers who are not prepared for winter conditions and its a short drive from the house to boone. Located in the foothills it was easy to access and was tucked in a sweet neighborhood. The cabin was clean and updated. The kitchen had all necessary supplies, but could use some fresh pans. My only complaint was the towels weren't freshly laundered. They were a bit dusty/musty smelling as if the cabin hadn't been used in a while. There was also dog hair on the couch covers. Since we were not bringing a pet that wasn't welcoming. Everything else was wonderful and I would definitely stay there again. ##### Cameron E. This is a great, quiet cabin that really we didn't even want to leave to do things. The living room is a great size for the number of people allowed. The kids loved the pool table and swings. The yard is spacious for kids to play. We had some deer out there one day. The gentleman down the road gave us permission to feed the donkeys. The kids loved that! Most places I stay, I wake up hurting from the beds. These beds! I didn't want to get up! lol We did have one set back/problem. The property was so spacious and everyone felt like they had their own space to enjoy themselves. A few minor things- the refrigerator water dispenser doesn’t work. We reached out and never got a response. We were traveling with babies who need filtered water so that was kind of disheartening. We also didn’t feel that the cabin was extremely clean. There was a dried spaghetti noodle in the drying rack that had been leftover from one of the previous guests. Some of the dishes seemed dirty and we had to wash them before using. The shower in the main floor bathroom doesn’t drain. It takes about 30 minutes for the water to drain completely, so we had to use a different bathroom to bathe our kids. The lighting in the cabin is pretty poor- you either have blue led style lighting or extremely dim. Overall we had a great time but there were some things that could have been better. ##### Brooke S.
