Situated in Historic Flat Rock just 20 minutes away from Downtown Asheville, it is perfectly located for couples who want a taste of the nightlife, but want to head home for a quiet night. I loved the community area we stayed in. We enjoyed fishing at the lake mere steps from our front door. Overall , great experience with an awesome host. We were in town to visit relatives, so didn't spend much time in the room, but the king bed was amazingly comfortable and we slept well. The rainhead shower was FABULOUS! Even if it does flood the bathroom some. The Keurig works well. I guess my o ly semi-complaint was that other than a tiny chair in the corner there isn't comfortable seating if one just wants to sit & read. I did bring the outside chair in, but for my old butt, it wasn't comfortable. The place is nice and is as advertised. We only have two small items to consider. 1)We arrived after dark and lighting/sinage made it difficult to find the unit. It's exactly as described, maybe the only one we could find with a king bed. Everything is new. The bathroom is a little tight but the space has been been really well done and the walk in shower is just what we wanted. The location at Mill House Lodge was so peaceful and quiet. We spent a lot of time reading on the porch overlooking the little lake. And it was really close to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Hendersonville and Saluda. Jul 15, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful renovated studio room This is a beautiful renovated studio room that my wife and I enjoyed for a 2 night stay as we were in town for a bee conference. Everything we could have possibly ever needed and more was accessible and available for us. The condominiums are a little dated but this particular room is great. The grounds were well kept, very quiet, and really relaxing. We took advantage of the pool both evenings and there weren’t any other people in the pool area. I noticed that you could canoe in the pond and grill out as well. Instructions for checkout were simple and easy. Great room and location and would stay here again if ever in the area.
