The place itself doesn't have a ton of frills and thrills besides the hot tub, but it was perfect for the two of us to wind down at the end of the day and sleep. We stayed here for a week for pleasure before transfering to a hotel near NAU for business. This neighborhood was much quiter and more walkable. The ventilation is not the greatest, so we had to prop open the back door every time we cooked breakfast to avoid setting off the smoke detector, fyi. Seriously, though. Location, location, location. It was a 7 to 15 minute walk to nearly anything we could think of doing...and the other things like the Lowell Observatory (highly recommend at night) and Walnut Canyon were just a few minutes drive. The location is excellent, as downtown Flagstaff is within walking distance and Sedona is less than an hour away. The rental is a quaint older little home. Two comfortable beds. We appreciated the pull out bed having a foam topper to make the bed more comfortable. The beds were comfortable! Sleeping In the main living can be a bit noisy in the morning due to traffic but nothing a sound machine and ear plugs can’t fix. The owner was extremely accommodating with checking in early and was very responsive in all of our communication. We also appreciated the checking out process as owners did not require us to do a lengthy list of check out protocols compared to other rentals I have stayed at.
