This beautiful custom build also overlooks part of Rio De Flag with seasonal waterflow. Just a short drive to the Snowbowl, Downtown Flagstaff, NAU, and trails. This 3 story, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom custom home resides in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a private road. Main floor offers large dining table with seating for 8, comfortable couches, wood burning fireplace and smart tv, vaulted ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows. Fully equipped kitchen with pub table. Game room located in basement equipped with fireplace, smart tv, foosball, pool table, ping pong, ring toss, and a hot tub comfortable for 4 guests. The view of the mountains is phenomenal and the forest behind the property is equally beautiful. Very close to town but feels like it's in the wilderness.The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked pots, pans, utensils, coffee making supplies, crock pots, etc. The pool table and foosball are in great condition and provided tons of fun for our family. While we found the layout of the home to be a little odd and somewhat dated, the views were great and the home had a plethora of amenities. There were plenty of comfortable beds and a variety of spaces inside and out to enjoy. The location of the home was fantastic, only a quick 15 min drive to Snowbowl or downtown. It was a wonderful location, easy to find, and fit our family of 10 well. We also had room to arrange all of the flowers and make the dessert for the wedding. This host thought of everything! It provided everything we could have expected and more. I was especially appreciative of the stainless bowls and plastic Snapwear. Thank you for the complimentary Coffee! Loved having the washer and dryer available for use. Kitchen contents are good quality. There was ample supply of towels. Appreciated having 3 King beds and the full-size bunks. Portable air conditioners in each room are a game changer. Watching TV was limited, and streaming was challenging so we missed some baseball games that we had hoped to watch. This seems to be a consistent problem in remote locations. Not a dealbreaker. The property was beautiful, surrounded by pine trees. The house was clean. We were actually surprised with how clean the patios and furniture were being surrounded with all the dropping pine needles! The AC units were really nice to have in July. Yes they're loud but didn't bother us too much. The basement had all sorts of fun games to play. Our family had a lot of fun down there! The house is old and could do with some improvements, but overall it was a very comfortable place to stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 8\. We used the grill and sat around the gas fire pit almost every night. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed. The host was very quick to get back to me whenever I had questions. Other commenters mentioned that the internet didn't work great. I was kind of hoping that was true so my teens would unplug for the week! Jun 13, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Wonderful quiet location with beautiful views We quite joyed our stay here and used it as it as a launching point to visit the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Painter Desert / Petrified Forest, Meteor Crater, and Sunset Crater Volcano. The serenity of the area with the trees around was just icing on the cake. So peaceful! As one reviewer mentioned the layout of the house is a little different but wasn’t too terrible. There were plenty of necessities available the house and a really nice Weber grill on the deck which we really enjoyed. The pool table on the bottom floor provided great evening entertainment. The location is secluded yet close enough to Flagstaff to be able to get anything you need. The house was very clean and the beds were mostly comfortable. The pillows could be improved a bit but were mostly ok. The heating and AC units were adequate but not great. We stayed at a time where we had to use both since the highs were in the upper 80s and the lows in the low 50s. The AC units are quite loud when they run as are the heaters. To be fair that’s made know in the listing. We just haven’t had experience with these before. It wasn’t terrible just something to get accustomed to. The house is very nice but seems a little dated and could you some updates here and there. I can’t say enough about the owners and how friendly they were and so easy to work with.
