They really enjoyed just swinging on the swingset in nature. Rooms were comfortable and host was responsive. We did not use hot tub but it was hot and ready. Sep 15, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy This property in Hidden Hollow is wonderfully wrapped in a forest setting, with a herd of deer visiting almost every afternoon and widely spaced but friendly neighbors. The house is circuit 1915 but very nicely revised and comfortable. You are very close to town (5 minute ) drive but feel like you are deep in the woods. The hosts are outstanding, hospitable and promptly communicate to ensure you have a good time and to meet your needs or questions. Outstanding. We came to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and were greeted with peaceful mornings watching deer while sipping coffee, and afternoons full of birds and squirrels that kept our golden doodle entertained. The home itself was beautiful, cozy, and well-appointed—from the comfy beds to the hot tub and fireplaces (both indoor and outdoor). The wraparound porch with views of the pines and wooded surroundings made every moment feel like a retreat. The hosts were truly special—kind, thoughtful, and always quick to respond.
