Beach and staff were amazing

We stayed there for our 10-year anniversary. Nice view. However, we paid an expensive nightly rate for a half board. The main restaurant is supposed to be opened until 10pm. We arrived at 8pm for our reservation. Not even 15min after our arrival, the staff clearly started to do everything possible to make us understand we ought to be leaving asap. Like cleaning the dishes, heavily racking chairs on the floor, setting up for breakfast 2h before closing time… they did everything except being hospitable so I had to say something but still they continued and opened wide the kitchen doors so we could hear all the dishes. Despite 2 attempts to ask them to give us a quiet time they still continued it was not even 9pm. We complained to the management but it definitely put a shadow on the whole experience. We were not excepting high end food but we were there to relax and enjoy a quiet, peaceful and it is not what we got. Rush clean fast 15min for us by knowing we paid a lot of money We did not feel it reached the mark

The room was as advertised; a good size, comfortable and with a great sea view. The bathroom was a little tired. We had booked room only and paid for a continental breakfast on 2 days. The selection was adequate. Bar snacks, lunch and dinner menus had a good selection. Our room was steps from the beach. There were plenty of beach chairs and lounges and the area was well maintained daily. A great cafe and several restaurants are within walking distance. Free parking was available across the road. Every staff member we engaged with were professional and very friendly. We understand that the property will be undergoing a major renovation / rebuild in the near future which should upgrade the standard of the bathrooms and the guest amenities. We hope the one thing that doesn't change is the staff. Across all the services they were exceptional, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and enhance our stay.

We recently stayed at Victoria Beachcomber as an Indian family with kids, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property itself is amazing—massive, beautifully maintained, and set in a stunning location. The sunset views from the resort are simply breathtaking and were one of the highlights of our stay. We stayed in a ground-floor double room, which was very comfortable and offered lovely views with easy access to the beach, making it especially convenient for families. As vegetarians, we initially found the buffet options somewhat limited. However, Chef Iqbal went above and beyond to take special care of us throughout our stay. Every day, he lovingly prepared delicious Indian curries and fresh rotis, ensuring that we always had a satisfying meal. His hospitality and personal attention truly made a difference. The Kids Club was another standout feature. Our 8-year-old thoroughly enjoyed the games and activities organized by the team. The staff took excellent care of the children, keeping them engaged and entertained, which allowed the adults to relax and enjoy the resort. We also loved the complimentary water activities. The glass-bottom boat, paddle boat, and kayak were fantastic additions and added a lot of fun to our holiday. Every evening, the resort organized cultural dance performances showcasing local traditions and dance forms, followed by a DJ night. These events created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere and gave us a glimpse into the local
