It has light rail stops nearby, and the Central Business District is close by with plenty of options for shopping and dining. "Enjoyed my 3 night stay. Area very quiet at night, even facing the front street. Good provision of gluten free cereal/crispbread/ & bread, although over defrosted. Lactose free milks. Choices of drinks, eggs, meats, cheese all placed open for selection . Staff helpful, I borrowed a kettle, as these not routinely provided. Bed comfy, bathroom clean and tap providing drinking water. TV, but only a few Norwegian channels, nothing available in English, but didn't matter. Overall, a fuss free easy going place to stay. Great location, 8-10 walk from bus stop off at Torget, on at Strandkaien. 👍"

"I loved staying here, although I moved to another hotel after staying here for three days. I wish I could stay here until the end of my trip. Excellent breakfast--$20 was so worth it to explore different food options, including a variety of breads, fruits, protein, fish, and soup. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and blackets were so comfortable that I couldn't get up quickly after I woke up. I stayed with my friend, and we both had large luggage, but the room still accommodated us. The staff service was great, and the hotel has many pleasant spaces on the lobby floor where you can sit, sip coffee, chat with friends, or even work. "
