We had a wonderful time. The only improvement was my experience when I checked in. The lady working the desk was not very friendly at first. She did not look up from the computer and I had to approach her. I felt like she should have at least made eye contact with me with a greeting. Other than that, the stay was perfect!
My family was very happy with Americinn, Fishers. There is ample parking. Upon arrival, the counter staff was prompt and courteous. Check in was a breeze.
Our room was wonderful. It contained both a king size bed and a couch with a pull out bed if needed. It had all the regular necessary amenities including tv, fridge, desk, etc.
The bathroom was very nice as well. Very spacious. And clean as was the whole room.
The pool area was good. It included a pool that went to five feet deep and also a spa was present. Indoors and heated made it even better.
The hot/cold breakfast was very good. Many options to choose from. And the gal taking care of it was super friendly and prompt.
I think the only thing I would like to see addressed is the elevator. It worked fine but just needs an air deodorizer. Many people use the small space. I will say, however, that it did seem it may have been some folks getting back from the state fair. Sometimes animal fumes stay with you for a little while. That I understand. This isn't a critical comment nor do I mean to put down 4-H'rs. But, just a little freshener would be nice.
overall it was an excellent stay for us. My little girl loves the pool. And the staff was top notch. For the very reasonable price, it's an excellent stay. We will use them again for sure.
The bed was not all that comfortable, and the hotel had a faint smell of pot. The floors were a little sticky, and the coffee pot did not work. Other than that, it was just fine. I got the room for a good price, and the hotel staff were great.
Our door lock was not working. It took 3 times for the front desk to finally figure out that in fact the keys really didn't work; lock needed fixed! Also, the elevators are quite a distance from the front desk. If you have a lot to carry, make sure to park near the side doors closest to the elevators.
Staff were excellent with respect to traveling with pets. Asked if we wanted a room close to the exit for ease of the dogs.
Room was large enough with a king size bed. Bathroom a bit on the small side but clean.
Breakfast was good but very limited selection of cereals and fruit. Would recommend to people traveling with dogs.
I reserved a suite for 2 nights for family that was in town to visit. I chose this hotel because it is one of the newest in the area, and the room could sleep 6. Most hotels in the area could only sleep 4 or 5 max. My first impression of the hotel when we walked in was that it had a very nice, clean, and fresh smell. Everything was very clean. My family ended up needing a jump after leaving the light on in their van overnight, and hotel had jumper cables at the ready. I would highly recommend this hotel.
