« Nous avions visité cet établissement il y a environ quatre ans et avions été très satisfaits. Notre seconde visite a été tout aussi concluante. Cet hôtel est très bien situé au cœur de Newport. Notre chambre était confortable, meublée avec goût et peu bruyante malgré la situation de l'hôtel. Le restaurant Bouchard attenant à l'hôtel offre une cuisine raffinée et mérite le détour. »

![The Point Judith Light is located on the west side of the entrance to Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island as well as the north side of the eastern entrance to Block Island Sound. The confluence of two waterways make this area busy with water traffic and the waters around Point Judith are very cold and dangerous. 
The site is very picturesque with plenty of locations to enjoy the seascape and take photos. The grounds are open to the public and there is enough parking space but the lighthouse itself has restricted accessibility since is still an active Coast Guard Station.
