The view of Lake Michigan was gorgeous! We did have trouble keeping the heat at an even temperature throughout the house, but the fireplace was warm and the beds were cozy at night and there were plenty of blankets everywhere! We cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and we were missing a few things, oven mitts/pot holders, trivets, bigger bowls for mixing. We made due with what we had though. We enjoyed the beautiful large table in the kitchen and the large coffee table and swivel chairs in the living room, where we could all sit and enjoy our morning coffee and watch movies by the fire at night! It was lovely to sit and look out over the bay. The unit was very clean and in a great location, making it easy to walk into town for shopping or meals.
