This spot couldn’t have been any more perfect. After a long day driving to and from Milford sound, it was the most beautiful location, up to date eco friendly rooms, breathtaking views of the lake, the floors were heated and the ambiance of the fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, and not to forget the TV over the bathtub and pressure in the shower was unreal. 5 star rating! Wish we could have stayed longer! Will gladly come back again!

One bed apartment was spacious and quiet with great views over the lake. Liked the balcony too. Great facilities such as guest laundry room, car wash area, bbq area, nice gardens and seating at the front of property. Small kitchenette, no oven or dishwasher. Easy walk into town centre, cafes and restaurants

My family loved this place. The apartment is huge with an incredible view. Our room had a balcony and a deck area, perfect for seeing the sunset. Everything was clean, modern, comfortable. Washer and dryer in the room worked great. Kitchen had everything we could need. We wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We liked the large apartment with separate bedroom and beautiful view of the lake from the lounge. Great to have a hob to cook on with a good selection of pots & pans. Everything was very clean & tidy. We appreciated the guest laundry, washing machines & detergent free, dryers $2 for 20mins. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance, also to the shopping centre. Good to see a large Fresh Choice supermarket in the town.

This motel is in the best location for Te Anneu! Rooms are clean and have beautiful lake views. We used our kitchen for breakfast and some dinners. Easy walking distance to downtown and to Real New Zealand tour office. We used Trac Net for transportation to and from Queenstown and they dropped us off right in front of the motel. And they also take hikers to the various tracks (trails) like Milford, Routeburn and Keplar Tracks. We used Real New Zealand to get to Doubtful Sound and Trips and Tramps to go to Milford Sound, all within easy pickup of this motel. There is no uber or taxi in town so you will benon foot. Highly recommend this motel!

Fantastic ground floor apartment with great outlook across gardens to the lake. Fantastic large spacious apartment. Easy parking next to our room. Quite bedroom. Lovely place.

This is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Milford Sound - apartments are spacious and very well equipped and their towels are the best i’ve ever experienced in a hotel. great views and a short walk into town and the visitor centre. Great laundry facilities and easy parking. You’ll be very lucky to get this place as part of your tour round NZ and that’s a fact

Wonderful place to stay in Te Anau, we wished we could have stayed longer. Everything you could need in a very comfortable suite/apartment. Great views of the lake. Easy walk to town and other attractions. Very friendly helpful staff! Excellent value for money. Highly recommend!

Cheers for the feedback Philip. Our Tanara rooms have air conditioning and the one bedrooms have lots of windows and doors to open with the lake breeze it stays cool

This Lakeview property has been well-maintained, was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The owners provided thoughtful amenities for guests. Beautiful views from the room, and walkable to shopping and dining. The grounds were also also well kept with beautiful flowers.

Fairly new buildings, nice views of Lake and easy walk into town. Liked the mini kitchen and bedding was very comfortable. Dave the manager very helpful, we recommend this place and would stay again.

Luxury plus the view
This was our favourite accomodation of all the places we stayed in New Zealand. Our deluxe appartment contained everything we could wish for to make our stay comfortable. From the spectacular view through the double fronted window, remote control blinds, proper coffee machine (not just a pod machine), huge rain shower, glowing fire place, washer/dryer combo, real milk in the fridge, steel water bottles and even a tv above the bathtub, this place had it all and more. We didn’t want to leave. Thanks for thinking of the comfort of your customers and making us feel special!

My family and I have travelled around quite a bit but this has by far been the best accommodation we’ve stayed at. It was so clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We could tell the owners put a lot of thought into the functionality of everything. We really enjoyed our stay here and would 10/10 recommend this place for anyone who is staying in Te Anau or travelling to Milford Sound.

Perfect choice in Te Anau
This is a great property - the best on our whole trip I would say. The apartments are very modern, comfortable and well equipped and the lake view from ours was stunning. We had a fabulous stay and I would highly recommend the property and Te Anau - a beautiful, calm, lake side town.

This is a darling property with incredible views of the lake. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchenette relatively well supplied. Staff were friendly and helpful.
