Welcome to East Bay Cottage - a well appointed, large 4 bed house at The Bay Filey holiday village. Located right near a boules court and within a short walk of the meadows this is a perfect choice for a large or two family holiday. East Bay Cottage has had new hard flooring throughout and a kitchen upgrade in late 2022. Enter into the property and use the large storage space for all your coats and shoes, Walk through the large dining room with extended dining table seating 8\. Off the dining room is a WC and ground floor bedroom - ideal for multi generational family holidays. The other door leads to a large kitchen and lounge area with all the appliances you'll expect for a self-catering break including a large fridge / freezer and spacious lounge / seating area. The large kitchen / lounge to the rear of the property has two large sets of French doors leading to a patio on 2 aspects with BBQ area. The lounge area has a lovely corner leather sofa and SMART TV. There is access to the Boules Court through the French door to the patio which can seat 8 and a fabulous brick built BBQ. Upstairs, the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with rainfall shower. There is a further double bedroom and a twin-bedded room. The family bathroom has a bath and overhead rainfall shower. Central heating throughout. Parking is available in the resort car park, a mere 2-minute walk from the property. The front door of the property had gaps in and with it raining on Friday night and being v windy, the water was coming into the porch area. We managed to dry it all up. Spacious accommodation for 5 adults and 2 children and plenty of crockery etc. Easy access to the very nice beach too although further sign posting would be useful as you come away from the houses towards the beach. Couple of downsides to mention - there’s a v small playground on site which is not signposted at all and hard to find. I think it might be because it’s too small to accommodate most children, another one on a site this size wouldn’t go amiss. But the worst thing was, there’s a problem with flies. On arrival and parking up, we noticed a car next to us absolutely covered in them. There were some in the house and once patio doors were opened to go out onto the grassed area, lots of flies came in. Same applies to the pub, we were wafting them away from our drinks. ##### Sharon L.
