"My family stayed here for 10 days. The location was super convenient as we liked to bounce around from Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, Menemsha Beach, and Edgartown:South Beach. The house was super clean and host very responsive. The backyard was big enough my son and I would do long toss baseball throws and could jump in the pool when hot."

"The Cottage on Oak Lane was a superb property and host experience for both my wife and I. Everything was clean and prepared upon entry. Having (quality) towels and linens provided was a huge plus. The grill is older but works perfectly. The dirt road Oak Lane is a bit long but extremely well maintained, low travelled, and provides excellent privacy. Our communication with the host gets an A and we used the in house guide to source several excellent activities. My wife and I would rent here again and would highly recommend this property for other couples looking for a getaway on MV away from the bustle of town. "

"Our family had a wonderful time at this cozy home only steps away from a very convenient supermarket and the bus stop that took us to the vineyard ferry. The owner was always available for questions and extremely helpful. We did bbq in the back deck as well as take our little dog McQueen to run in the back yard where she chased the rabbits and squirrels!! Overall we enjoyed every minute of our stay having same amenities as our home in Ny "

"Excellent property - as described by Laura our host. We are very familiar with the island and we had a great stay. The property is located outside of Vineyard Haven reasonably close to Lambert's Cove area. You definitely need a car to get around, but with that, everything is easy. Very clean, quiet, and well stocked. Laura was super responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"What a beautiful home. And, if my son's research is correct, a very historic location. The house was spotless when we arrived and contained everything you would need for a week. "We had such a wonderful stay at this house! The layout was perfect — all the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable for our whole group. We especially loved the bright, open living space and the kitchen, which made gathering together so easy. The house was clean and full of natural light.The back deck with its patio seating was the perfect spot for an early morning coffee, and the large open field was great for a soccer game with our group. Plus, the hot tub was an amazing bonus. It was so much fun after a long day!We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and would absolutely love to come back again!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this property—it’s clean, bright, and welcoming! The bed and pullout were comfortable and the house was spacious and well-appointed. It was a great, quiet location on the center of the island but no more than a 15 minute drive to all we wanted to see and do. It was so nice drinking a coffee on the deck and listening to the nature.We had a minor issue with check-in and Vacasa wasn’t great about helping. We also had a minor internet issue and the owner answered in seconds and it was resolved. Again, great stay, location, and property! Highly recommend!"
