Booked a non smoking room. The hotel room had an overwhelming smoke smell. We checked in about 8:30, and since we had booked it we decided we should stay instead of drive the remaining 3 hours home and losing the money. Should have kept driving. I felt like I was sleeping in the middle of a casino because the smoke smell was so bad. Not sure what their definition of non-smoking room is? That and coupled with the noise that was coming from downstairs or any noise for that matter. The walls allowed every noise to come through. Some people came back from wherever and the paper thin walls didn’t keep their noise from waking my wife and I. I woke up and showered in an attempt to clean the smell off, used our swim towels that we used at our previous hotel to dry off because the towels provided by the hotel smelled. I wanted to leave there ASAP. We didn’t even attempt the breakfast. I looked at it, bypassed the dilapidated mystery meats, took some yogurts for the road and left immediately.

Excellent breakfast. The kitchen help me reheat my own food. Thank you. Beautiful hotel. Wifi works. However there is no fridge and reception closed after 10pm cause some inconvenience to us.

A Basic Guesthouse
The owner does not speak English. Not connecting to WiFi, and using sign language, the owner found me a young man (son?) who spoke English, and, knew where we could pick up on the internet, which only worked in the hallway near the router. There was a table and a chair there, so it worked out OK.The room was basic but highly adequate. Tiny shower, no tub. Breakfast was above average. Plenty of on-the-neighborhood street parking.

Nicer than profile makes it look
I will admit that I was hesitant to stay at this hotel from the pictures on their website, yet we arrived and I felt it was much nicer than their profile appeared. The room was very clean and the bathroom appeared to be brand new! The bed was very comfortable and they provided complimentary water and snacks! Their breakfast and eating area were also very nice. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for the price of the hotel. Great quality for a low price!

Clean and centrally located
Very clean, excellent breakfast, walking distance to the the very cute Altstadt, easy drive to Rothenburg and Dinkelsbuhl, friendly, very helpful staff. The beds we slept on were twin without a boxspring so a bit more firm than a typical bed from the states. Wonderful pension that I would definitely stay in again.

Charming little town
We needed the hotel for a springboard to events in the area and the Wilder-Mann fit the bill perfectly. Clean, quite rooms at a rate that let us put the kids next door, a wonderful restaurant downstairs and a helpful staff. Walking distance to explore the city and easy access to get get out to the next town when necessary. Internet by wifi was slow, but adequate.

Hallo, ich war mit meiner Ehefrau unterwegs und auf der Suche nach einer Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit Frühstück - wir sind beide begeistert von der Unterkunft - alles hervorragend in Schuss und sauber - das Frühstück ist erstklassig - wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind auf jeden Fall wieder !

Vom Empfang bis zur Verabschiedung top, das Zimmer sauber (trotz schwarzer Vorhänge und Kissen, Tagesdecke und Bank kein einziges Staubkorn!), das Essen im Restaurant lecker, das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen - eine klare Empfehlung für die Romantische Straße! Plus-sidan: idyllisk by, bra läge, sympatiskt hotell och restaurang, mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal, fantastisk frukost 👍😀 Minus-sidan: rummet (eller hotellet) behöver saneras av vägglöss. Sänglakan och kudden var full av löss när vi vaknade på morgonen. Personalen informerades på morgonen (foto och video), och informationen togs med största allvar. Dock lämnade vi hotellet med stor oro, om vi blev av med lössen från våra kläder och resväskor eller inte…

Très belle découverte
Hôtel refait récemment, l'accueil est très chaleureux, les chambres sont confortables, propres et bien équipées, la propreté est irréprochable dans la salle de bain. Le fait de pouvoir manger à des prix plus que raisonnables est un vrai confort. Nous avons passé une nuit excellent en famille. Les petits-déjeuners sont très copieux et l'ensemble du personnel est au petit soin. Notre fille a même eu une assiette décorée avec soin pour le petit-déjeuner.

Hier ist der Gast König!
Seit Jahren steigen wir im Wilden Mann ab, wenn wir in Feuchtwangen sind. Nun hat der Besitzer gewechselt und wir waren gespannt, ob sich vieles verändert haben würde. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich wie eh und je, haben einen Hauch italienische Deko bekommen und alles war piccobello sauber und hygienisch! Der Gastraum des Restaurants hat sich sehr verändert: Aus einer gutbürgerlichen Gastwirtschaft ist ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes italienisches Lokal geworden mit Pizzaofen, eleganter Bestuhlung, stilvollen Lampen und sparsamer, aber passender Deko. Und dann erst der herzliche Empfang und fantastische Service! Hier ist der Gast König, dem man bestrebt ist, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen! Sie möchten draussen sitzen? Machen wir passend trotz Abstandsregeln kriegen wir das hin. Das Kissen ist zu dick? Kein Problem. Wir haben auch ein kleineres. Fehlt was am Frühstück? Nur sagen! Wir hatten nichts zu beanstanden, sondern waren einfach nur begeistert und fühlten uns rundum verwöhnt!Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal!

Wir haben hier wiederholt eingecheckt. Vorbildlich Inhaber geführte Pension in toller Umgebung. Ausgangspunkt vieler Exkursionen in die Umgebung von Feuchtwangen und darüber hinaus. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Albergo cirato in tanti piccoli dettagli peccato che l'odore della cucina sia molto forte al piano terreno e si diffonda per tutta la struttura. Peccato senza questo problema il giudizio sarebbe decisamente migliore.

Sehr nett und unkompliziert von Ankunft bis Abfahrt. Traditionelles Hotel mit Restaurant. Abends in der Wirtschaft gab es traditionelle „Schlacht Schüssel“. Als Vegetarier haben wir da nur zugeschaut; es sah aber sehr gut aus und den Gästen hat’s geschmeckt.

Nice, familiar Hotel in the old town of Feuchtwangen. Friendliness at reception could be better and information more proactive, but room and breakfast were very good. All in all a good, priceworthy location to stay in Feuchtwangen.
