Gîte\*\*\*\*\* Sundgau is located in a nice little square and faces a big fountain. From the window you will admire the magnificent views of the nearby forest and castle. You will enjoy the quiet, relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful natural environment which is highly suggestive of Alsatian tales and legends.   
This exquisitely furnished holiday mansion will make you appreciate in all seasons the beauty and calm of this magnificent region. You will enjoy direct access to the forest for relaxing walks and the easily accessible restaurants and shops. Those two luxurious cottage apartments are waiting for you in an ideal environment for a relaxing holiday in Southern Alsace.   
Location and surroundings of the small Gite des Fontaines :  
The ideal location of the Gite will truly impress you : from each window you can admire the beautiful views of the luxuriant forest, Ferrette’s castle and the main fountain.The Gite is immersed in nature but all the restaurants, shops and services are easily accessible at a walking distance (just a few minutes’ walk from the Gite).  
Ferrette is very close to both Germany and Switzerland : Bâle / Basel is only within 30 minutes’ drive from Ferrette, Berne et Zurich only within one hour fifteen minutes’ drive.  
On the french side of the border you can visit Altkirch, (within 15 minutes’ drive) Mulhouse and Belfort, (45 minutes), Colmar (one hour and a half) and Strasbourg (2 hours’ drive)The strategic location of la Maison des Fontaines will enable you to combine an Alsatian holiday in the country with many others outings : cultural visits, gastronomic experience (Antony’s cheese, Alsatian cooking such as fried carps) and sport-related activities.  
Wthin 30 minutes’ drive, you can visit Basel which hosts about thirty museums and internationally famous exhibitions (such as « Art Basel »), you may also be fully satisfied with the relaxing atmosphere of the nearby forests and the medieval atmosphere of Ferrette.

The exceptional location of La Maison des 5 Temps and La Maison des Fontaines gives you access to numerous activities : walks in the forest, hiking, biking (with the possibility to rent a bike in Ferrette), swimming pools, fishing in the Sundgau area, tennis, horse-riding, golf and Lalargue Country Club in Mooslargue.  
Besides, for our foreign guests, La Maison des 5 Temps and La Maison des Fontaines is the perfect place to combine a vacation and language study holiday while discovering this beautiful region.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille (2 adultes/2 enfants) dans ce gite chaleureux. Le gite est bien équipé, il est au calme et bien positionné dans le village de Ferrette. De belles ballades à proximité pour les vacances.
