Il n'y avait pas de détecteur de fumée. Je suis allée en acheter un au Canadien Tire.
C'est écrit pas de chien et il y avait un chien dans l'office.
La chambre était très petite et ne représente pas ce que j'ai vu sur internet.

Dear guest,
You were given the room you made reservation. Economy queen rooms are little smaller in size than standard rooms, hence price is the cheapest in Fernie. All of our rooms and suites have smoke detectors. Not sure what you meant by you didn't see one. Every year we have a professional certified company who comes and checks all the smoke detectors and fire alarms and the entire system. Fire alarm system is also inspected by the local Fire Department. We can assure that our lodge is very safe and there is a system in place to keep our lodge and guests safe and sound. Please come stay with us again and we will give you a tour of our facility and show you where the alarm system is. Have a nice day!

L'hôtel est bien situé à moins de 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville de Fernie. Cependant, le chauffage est très bruyant. Autrement, la salle commune pour la cuisine est pratique. J'ai pu aussi jouer quelques parties de billard.

It was just a bit dumpy. I guess you get what you pay for in a ski town. It just wasn't well cared for and it doesn't seem like much is invested in keep the property up.

The property is run by wonderful people. All very friendly and accommodating. We were on 2nd floor which is older but clean. Layout of suites was awesome for our adult family group. Kitchenettes very functional. Only suggestion is that they need more light in the rooms. Great value for the money.

This place is fine for a night or two aslong as you don't need to spend anytime in your room. The sheets and towels were clean but everything else was dirty and run down. Keep your shoes on and bring your own pillows.

It's an older building, ok, but that doesn't mean that it can be dirty with sticky floors and the like.
Bathroom door did not close properly and many other minor things.
My rating is based on the cost per night.

The motel is right by the main road so it is quite noisy during the day. However, it completely quieted down at night so we had a great sleep. Blankets, coverlets and pillows, everything looked brand new. You can see some things that show the hotels age but what needs to be modern is. The host was a lovely, helpful man and he has the cutest little dog, which was friendly but didn't chase you around for attention. If needed, we'd stay there again.

Sam, the owner is amazing. Always remembers us and always so willing to accommodate any needs. Place is always clean. Love being able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. BBQ available if you want to use it. Close to all amenities, able to walk wherever you want to go.

The guy at the desk who checked us in was really lovely and friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Nice quiet room with beautiful mountain views, great hot tub to relax in after skiing. Walking distance to downtown and lots of restaurants. Cute dog.

The walls were thin hear next room. The next room partied until 5 am nothing was done. The hot tub was from 1980 and was so dirty looked like slough water.
