A short trail through the woods opens to the lake where you can take a dip, go for a ride on the kayaks, have a bonfire or sit back and enjoy the scenery. The Space: Escape to Crescent Cottage, a hidden gem with its open one level floor plan and peaceful surroundings. Step into the spacious backyard and soak in the beauty of nature and the lake. The city boasts vast stretches of sugar-sand Lake Michigan beach, rolling vineyards, and diverse, authentic food and art scenes. The lights on the back deck and outdoor dining area make for a nice ambiance at night along with the fire pit by the lake. The interior is artfully decorated and the beds comfy. The appliances are of a higher quality than the typical rental’s cheapest-they-can-find and I appreciated that as I love to cook. This property was amazing and probably one of the best stocked rentals I’ve stayed in. My only critique is the 10am check out time and check out instructions. It is beautifully decorated and felt fresh and new. The location was very private, which was what I was looking for. The weather was perfect and my girls and I loved taking out the kayaks on the pond! It’s an easy drive into surrounding towns, but I prefer staying somewhere outside of the hustle and bustle.
