There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful and brought us a kettle! Unfortunately, the cleaning of kitchen and bbq were not up to standard, plus three light bulbs were broken, no kettle or oven glove or washing up liquid or handwash were provided. We recitifed some of the issues and in all fairness the owner reimbursed our cleaning fee which we had not requested. Also, the information provided was very out of date, e.g one recommended restaurant had closed some years ago, the local and other recommended restaurants were not open during our one week's stay. Nonetheless, overall an enjoyable stay. Please note that with a bit of attention to detail a stay here could warrant a top score. ##### Ian B. Pas de canapé où se lover la soirée après une rando devant la vieille TV, mais plutôt un vieux BZ dur comme de la pierre au milieu de la pièce encombrée par de nombreuses chaises et petits fauteuils inutiles vu la capacité du site, manque de couverts aussi (6 fourchettes). La pièce est plutôt sombre en général, bas de plafond, et cela donne donc un sentiment d'oppression car la demeure est enclavée dans un large terrain agréable bordé de grands arbres même si nous n'avons pas été gâtés par le temps. Rien à dire concernant la chambre parentale parfaite, la deuxième est passante très bas de plafond, la douche de la salle de bain a un sérieux problème d'écoulement. Impossible de déjeuner dehors, la table mise à disposition est trop basse, on ne peut pas s'asseoir avec les chaises fournies. Les photos de la pièce principale sur le site ne correspondent pas à l'ameublement actuel. Le terrain de tennis mériterait d'être plus entretenu car en partie glissant. C’est très calme juste le chant des oiseaux. La maison est bien conçue, avec une terrasse abritée. A l’intérieur il y a tout le nécessaire. La maison est plutôt adaptée à une famille car l’accès à la chambre du deuxième étage passe par la première, ce qui n’est pas un souci en famille. Il y a plein de chemin balisés ou non aux alentours. Stéphanie est très sympathique et attentive au bien-être de ses locataires. Nous aimerions y revenir, ce qui pour nous est assez rare. ##### Frederic B. Cette jolie petite propriété est simple, confortable et bien rénovée dans son écrin de verdure. Bien pourvu en ustensiles et équipements pour passer un bon séjour. Manque malgré tout un wifi performant pour travailler ses dossiers. Suggestion : Un poêle à bois ou à granulés rendrait l'endroit plus chaud et romantique. Auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Rennradtouren auf kleinen, sehr ruhigen Straßen. Das Ferienhaus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet einen guten Komfort. Landschaft sehr spannend, abwechselnd steil bewaldet bis sanft hügelig offen, oft Heide bewachsen, wunderbar grün. Viele hübsche Bäche und einige tolle Stauseen in der näheren Umgebung runden das Bild ab. Wassersport, Angeln und Rundwanderungen möglich. Im Haus gute Raumaufteilung und Möblierung, funktionale Ausstattung. Überaus freundliche, immer zügige und sehr hilfreiche Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin, sehr nette Familie.
