Within walking distance of Lagoon, we'd make our own breakfast, enjoy the cool & quiet mornings...then walk to Lagoon, spend a few hours, then walk back "home" for lunch & a reprieve from the hottest part of the day & then walk back for part 2 @ Lagoon! An added bonus was the tree swing, the cute mama hummingbird & fresh raspberries! It was fun reading about the history of the house & there was plenty of space, comfy beds, nice bath & body works soaps/lotions & a beautiful yard for all of us to enjoy! The book provided by the host with info about the house and people that lived here was really cool. Very cozy and the kids enjoyed it, although they thought it was a little spooky because of its age!
