The cat sanctuary is a must visit and trips to Hluhluwe was easy to organise. It is an easy drive to St Lucia and to Bayete to see the elephant education demonstration which is a must-do. Be aware that there is very little around there so likely you will need to eat dinner at the lodge. The foods is quite plain with not much choice. Also be aware that the rooms have no TVs. I would recommend the Lodge for its position and the attentive staff." The accommodation was amazing felt like luxury but you were still in nature. The tent was very clean and the staff turned over our room daily for day and evening (example tent flaps up during the day for more light and closed at night). Staff were friendly, meals were good, and the evening camp fire was a great way to meet other travelers. The stand out was the amazing game drives, our driver and guide Taisa and tracker Derek were great and went out of their way to get us the best viewings and ensure animals we wanted to see were a priority. We had the same guide team the entire stay which meant they got to know us and tailor our game drives to what we had already seen. This surpassed my expectations and I highly recommend. The cat sanctuary is a must visit and trips to Hluhluwe was easy to organise. It is an easy drive to St Lucia and to Bayete to see the elephant education demonstration which is a must-do. Be aware that there is very little around there so likely you will need to eat dinner at the lodge. The foods is quite plain with not much choice. Also be aware that the rooms have no TVs. I would recommend the Lodge for its position and the attentive staff." The accommodations are beautifully furnished with all the amenities you could need, including excellent WiFi. However, it’s the stillness of the wilderness that truly soothes the soul, inviting relaxation and rejuvenation. The staff’s hospitality was exceptional. From the flawless check-in and check-out process to their warm Zulu smiles, they made me feel like family. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail ensured every need was met effortlessly.
