"Stayed here whilst visiting family in the Maenporth region. Friendly staff, the communcal areas were in great condition with specific decorations for the Easter weekend. The room was very comfortable with dual aspect windows in our room. Breakfast each day was very good quality with a wide selection of options available, including hot cross buns (as it was Easter) and the staff again catering to bespoke requests. Only areas I would suggest to improve are the slow wifi speed (perhaps look into a Starlink connection for the hotel) and the low water pessure in the shower."

"Excellent place to stay! Friendly welcoming staff. Clean rooms with daily service, tea making facilities and coffee machine with a tub of biscuits in room. Plenty of parking. Breakfast includes a cook breakfast or cereal, yogurt, toast etc. The location is perfect literally 2 mins walk down to beach or a restaurant which is open daily or a 10 min walk into Falmouth town. Highly recommend."

"The position of the hotel was good for the beach, but quite a long way from the town centre. Parking is good and appeared to be adequate for the numbers in the hotel. Our room was quite small, but perfectly adequate for our needs, and spotless with regard to cleanliness. The bed was large, and somewhat firm for our liking, but no other complaints. Tea/coffee was plentiful and obtained from the reception area, along with water if required. Breakfast is booked the previous evening along with anticipated timing, and this worked well with the food being freshly cooked upon arrival in the dining room, and with no complaints on quantity or quality, and the staff were more than helpful. There is a small bar and lounge area that could get a bit cramped but there is plenty of outside seating if the weather allows. One relatively downside is that the hotel has many levels and stairs which may cause difficulties for those with mobility issues, and I did not see any lift options to overcome this. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel as a good mid range option."

"Bit of a mix up with the bill when checking out but sorted quickly by the night manager. Restaurant service was slow especially if busy, staff were great . Spa was good. Would definitely stay again"

"Very good breakfast menu and loved the fact it was table service. The staff were excellent, despite it being busy in the morning and they were obviously run off their feet. The room was clean, lovely view and fresh milk and bottled water brought up when requested. We ate in the restaurant in the evening - again, a good menu and staff were excellent. A thoroughly enjiyable stay."

"Although this is an older property, do not be put off. It is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was "traditional" but everything worked and it was clean. The restaurant was good and the food tasty. Breakfast was great in terms of variety and quality. I would definitely stay at The Falmouth again"
