"Our second stay here and was given a beautiful room lovely and clean. Loved being able to park the car and use the leisure facilities and walk in the beautiful gardens down to the river. Some walks involve more challenging terrain but well worth the effort to see places on the river. Service was excellent and breakfast was plentiful with great choice. "

Just keeping mine it's an older hotel so it comes with some of the quirks of an older building. I don't think our room had any ventilation, other than a fan. And the after noon the west facing window got hot and stuffy. You could crack the window about 4" but that was it.."

"Great hotel and good location nice to see little touches of excellence. we stayed visiting friends and it was great to be able to entertain them there. Nice restaurant and very up to date rooms and facilities. My one overriding slightly negative comment was how 'impersonal' it felt. The electronic booking -in was more akin to bar code shopping at waitrose (and didnt work.. we needed staff to help, both booking in, and out) and the breakfast process was slick but slightly impersonal.
