Boasting a comfortable, open-plan living space with a wood burner and well-equipped kitchen, each barn has its own enclosed, walled, lawned garden with seating. There is a function hall on-site (with conference and catering facilities for up to 250 guests) which may be available for use by prior arrangement with the owner. Neighbouring the owner’s farm, Piggyback Barns are situated in the peaceful village of Sculthorpe, just 8 miles from the Norfolk coastline with its wealth of sandy beaches, and RSPB bird and nature reserves. Excellent walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the doorstep and fishing is nearby. Fakenham, 2 miles away, offers good shops, restaurants, inns, a bowling alley, a cinema and a golf course. Bustling Burnham Market with village shops, inns and restaurants, is 7 miles away. Wells-next-the-Sea, 8 miles, offers an excellent sandy beach with colourful beach huts, a small shopping town centre with many inns and restaurants, and a picturesque fishing harbour - popular for fresh shellfish. Further along the coast is Brancaster an uncrowded sandy beach and golf course. Brancaster Staithe provides a popular venue for sailing and boating enthusiasts. The traditional seaside towns of Heacham and Hunstanton offer an array of activities for all ages. Many places of historical interest and stately homes are within the surrounding area. 20 minutes drive away is the historical town of Kings Lynn for shopping, market place, restaurants, inns and theatre, and also Norwich city for excellent shopping, castle museum, cathedral, theatre, market place, restaurants and inns. Beach 8 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile. These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 44 guests. Free WiFi The property is located on a working farm. Children must be supervised on site due to possible safety hazards. Families or couples only. Only dogs allowed at the property. One or more beds can be linked to form double or twin beds (please advise the owner of your preference soon after booking). No stag, hen or other party bookings allowed. There is open water in the property grounds. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times. A £200 security deposit may be asked for on arrival.
