Perfect place for relaxation. You will enjoy seclusion, peace and isolated beaches with clean sand and crystal-clear waters. The nearest beach from the house is a 2 minute walk. Other than the weekends, during which more locals are present, the beach is generally uncrowded. It is also ideal if one likes to snorkel and explore the marvelous sights under the sea. Furthermore in the vicinity, there are the ruins of Lasaea, an ancient city also mentioned in the Bible. In a distance of just five miles at the west, there is the natural port of Kaloi Limenes or “Fair Havens”. According to local legend as well as biblical scholars,it is asserted that Apostle Paul, in whose name a small church was built therein the 1960s), landed at Kaloi Limenes to preach the Christian faith in Crete.
