"Set in private garden but within 5 mins walk of shops/café/restaurant this is a lovely property. About 1hour from the airport but in a rural environment it is within 10 mins of beaches and a lot of fascinating archaeological sites and within easy driving distance of many amazing mountain villages. You really need a car but all the local people we met and talked to were lovely and helpful. Ripe grapes over the carport,great selection of herbs in the garden I can't fault it, Shan and Steve Burston...

"Orelia is een prachtig mooi, nieuw en schoon complex met een zeer vriendelijke Voula als manager. Ze kwam regelmatig langs met bijvoorbeeld verse eieren en watermeloen. Ook hapjes die haar moeder gemaakt had. Op onze tweede avond werd er zelfs een barbecue georganiseerd waaraan iedereen kon deelnemen! Ons appartement was zeer ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht en de zonsondergangen waren elke avond weer spectaculair! Dit deel van Kreta is een stuk rustiger dan het noorden...

"Meine Frau uns ich wohnten im Juni drei Wochen in dem laut Türbogengravur ursprünglich 1871 errichteten, geräumig ausgebauten Haus mit großer, beschatteter Terrasse auf dem Dach der Wohnküche (Balkon des oberen Schafzimmers). Zum Abendessen, wenn die tiefstehende Sonne noch unter das Terrassendach scheint, wählten wir den schattigen Platz unter der großen Bougainvillea im umfriedeten Vorhof. Auch im "Zentrum" von Listaros ist es absolut ruhig, auch tagsüber sind meist nur Vogelrufe, entferntere...
