Laurel Lookout has custom interiors & plenty of space to spread out! Perfect for families, romantic getaways or a week filled with exploring! Less than 45 mins to Asheville, 35 mins to Black Mountain & Hendersonville, & a quick drive to popular trails, Chimney Rock & beautiful Lake Lure. Thanks for visiting! We hope you make many lasting memories at LL! The space Our family bought this mountaintop home to enjoy time away in the beautiful mountains of WNC. We feel super fortunate to have this place & love to share with friends & family. We enjoy traveling & have high standards, so we put much care & thought into setting up the space. This two story home has a primary (king) bedroom and a second (queen) bedroom with a shared bath on the top level, along with an open, eat in kitchen & large den with gas log fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked for lots of cooking, along with a new outdoor gas grill. There’s also a wrap around covered deck to sit back & enjoy the expansive south facing views, with a large outdoor table for 8 to enjoy dinners outside. The bottom walk out level has a large bunk room with 2 full w/ twin on top beds, a full bath, a second kitchen/wet bar with full fridge, and game table w/ plenty of games. There’s also a cool rec room with shuffleboard, darts, classic wall arcade, (think pac man & galaga) vintage record player w/ lots of various vinyls, guitar & a large tv for game day or movies! The washer and dryer are also located on the bottom level. Just outside the rec room door, you’ll find a stone fire pit area with plenty of seating to enjoy a warm fire and s’mores! We also have a hammock off the primary bedroom deck to enjoy a good book or take a nap outdoors in the fresh air. Kids love our one of a kind fairy garden too! Plenty of space for kids and adults both inside and out, you’ll never want to leave! If you desire a bit of exercise, the neighborhood & main road are a great, gorgeous place to walk/run and plenty of trails are close by! Guest access Entire home & over an acre property Other things to note Thanks for choosing us! We provide a bundle of firewood w/ starter sticks for use at the fire pit. My friends and I had planned a weekend get away for Chimney Rock. Unfortunately Hurricane Helene had other plans. My heart aches for Chimney Rock and the surrounding area. This was the best property we have EVER stayed in the 10 years we have been visiting the Hendersonville area! The house was absolutely stunning, spotless, and supplied with every possible thing you might need including the ones you didn’t realize you needed! Every bed was unbelievably comfortable, so much so we checked what the master bedroom mattress was to purchase one when we get home! The kitchen was so well stocked with all the condiments and anything you might need to cook, every appliance, a first aid kit, the list goes on. The living room was well stocked with blankets and games, and the Wi-Fi was super super fast! The game room was so much fun and we made so many family memories together there. Showing our kids how to play Pac-Man was extra fun! And the views! Every morning we were treated to the most spectacular views, including hummingbirds that would hover over us while we were enjoying our 1st cup of coffee. The property was truly spectacular in every possible way, and the owners were quick to respond and offered to answer any questions that we might have during our stay.
