Secluded mountain area with unbelievable views of the ranges. Enjoy starry nights in our amazing back yard while having a soak in the hot tub. Located just 16 miles away from Breckenridge and only 2 miles from Downtown Fairplay, we are surrounded by World class skiing, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, rafting, off roading, and fishing. Come kick back and relax at this peaceful getaway. The Space: We invite you to enjoy our sweet cabin in Fairplay which is only 3 miles away from historic downtown Fairplay where you can bike to local shops, bars, and restaurants. The Middle Fork South Platte River runs right through Fairplay and has excellent fishing and there is even a beach to use in the summer time! Tons of hiking nearby and the cabin is only 25 miles away from World class skiing in Breckenridge, only 45 minutes to the hot springs in Buena Vista, and literally a few minutes away to 14’ers Mt Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln, Bross and Quandary Peak. Local wildlife is abundant. We have prepared this cabin to accommodate travelers and vacationers with all the things we value most in our accommodations when we travel. We have furnished the house with all the items we use on a regular basis including a fully furnished kitchen. We take pride in our cabin and hope you will have unforgettable memories in our space. Our house has ample room for you to spread out all your gear and local guidebooks to help you plan for you next day’s adventure. After a full day out exploring and enjoying the amazing mountain outdoors you will come back to the cabin and relax. We have an outdoor hot tub on the deck where you can soak in and enjoy the panoramic view or gaze the night stars while sipping your favorite drink. Outdoors, you will also be provided with a grill and eating/sitting area on the deck. We have a high-capacity washer and dryer and provide all the basic laundry supplies. We are both avid adventures and can give suggestions on the area’s best climbs, skis, and hikes. After a full day of exploring Summit and Park County you will enjoy our home’s open living space which invites togetherness and easy conversation. This cabin sits on over an acre of land. The property is surrounded by tall evergreen and aspens. There are few neighbors and traffic, as this property is located on a dead-end road. Our secluded home is 3 bedroom/3 bath cabin that can accommodate up to 10 guests. We have a King bed in the master bedroom, a queen in the second bedroom, twin over full and another twin in the bunk room downstairs, and 2 twin beds in the loft. Gas fireplace, fully furnished kitchen, hot tub, and open living space and of course amazing views all make this a truly special place. The home is exactly what we wanted, great view with a hot tub after a long hike day was heaven. We felt close enough to town but far enough to feel like a fairy tale. Fairplay is great central spot to visit Glenwood, the Rockies and Denver town. I will definitely be coming again. ##### Leah S. Reason for the 3/5 rating: I got called 2 hours before check in that the wifi router is broken and they will fix it by the following day. Following day they brought the wrong router and couldn’t fix it. That same day we noticed a huge puddle by the toilet and notified them that its leaking and we turned off the water to protect the bathroom floor. They told me they’ll send a plumber out that day. No one came. I checked in and they said they can’t get a plumber out until the following day which is Saturday. I also had to check in about the wifi and how it’s not working and they said now they have to order a new router so they don’t know when it will be done. Then supposedly a plumber came and fixed it but we didn’t see a difference with the toilet at all. Obviously this was frustrating, not having wifi and relying on our phone services out in the mountains is NOT ideal. I understand things happen like this, but maybe checking on the property a couple days in advance to make sure everything is working would be something to consider. It was my wedding weekend so this was NOT something I wanted to deal with. I did NOT appreciate how the property managers handled this situation. There were 2 different people communicating to me through messages and then calling me separately as well. After the stay I get a message that they are requesting 5 star review or do NOT leave a review at all- very unprofessional. ##### Kathy S.
