Great Place Not Too Far from Napa

Pros: Lots of amenities: full functioning mini-kitchen, sitting room area with TV, separate bedroom with doors that close, great A/C, plenty of hot water.
Chose this hotel because of the decent ratings and it was only 12 miles from where our friends live in Napa. (All other hotels were booked or way overpriced because the Sonoma NASCAR was in town.) Construction was ongoing and breakfast was served over at the other hotel, but it's just across the way. (We didn't go over to eat, choosing to sleep in instead.) The room was great for what we needed it for - a place to sleep. We didn't notice any extraneous noise coming from the adjacent rooms. Construction work didn't start until late morning, so plenty of time to sleep in.

Friendly,clean, but under construction

Pros: clean and quiet
Cons: A return of the good breakfast
Location: Fairfield is very close to the Napa Valley
The staff was friendly, and the room was clean, but the breakfast area was undergoing a rehab so we had to go to the adjacent hotel for breakfast. I didn't think this breakfast was nearly as good as the Staybridge we experienced outside of Chicago last year or the one in Herndon Va 3 yrs. ago. However, we will continue to use your hotels unless we feel that we should really give your competitor, Springhill a chance.

Undergoing renovations

Our room itself was fine, but the hotel is currently undergoing renovations. Breakfast was served in the neighboring hotel, which is also undergoing renovations. I realize that hotels cannot control the actions of their guests, but there was some hallway noise and sounds from the guests above that detracted from our stay.

1. Modern new facility with very poor room maintenance. Sink & shower tub plugged & they will continue to rent it out to us. Notified the front desk in pm & the shower tub still plugged after we were back from dinner. The front desk only willing to change room when we were back from dinner & the tub still not fixed. 2. We checked out late the next day due to got lost going back to hotel. The front desk had no hesitation charging us late check out fee $50 without calling us 1st. 3. The room is poorly insulated. The noise from people going by the next morning waked us up early. What a poorly managed place! They will charge you whenever they have the opportunity! Stay there if you don't mind paying 1st class price for 3rd class service & no problem when they charge you for not leaving soon enough.

Nice hotel

We were touring colleges in the area. This hotel was convenient, reasonable and the rooms were very spacious. The staff was excellent. The rooms were clean. The happy hour each evening was a nice perk as were the breakfasts. The only down side was the construction going on. I have to say the staff did a great job of making sure the construction wasn't bothersome. Parking was an issue because less spots available due to construction. Overall nice stay. We booked an extra night even.

You hear the footsteps next floor and flushing of the toilet.Room set up close to bathroom too!
