It is as advertised and is completely off the grid in the mountains which is exactly what we wanted. So many outdoor activities to do around the property. The river is beautiful and runs right through the backyard. The fire pit is the perfect gathering place for the group at night with plenty of nice chairs provided around the fire. We had an amazing trip. The off the grid living was easy to get used to. You just have to remember to turn off lights when u leave a room and start the generator if you want to use the appliances that draw significant power. There is a digital meter in the kitchen that tells you what the power level is at. If it drops below a certain level then just start the generator. The host was very responsive and answered any and all questions I had. All the beds were super comfortable! What a perfect place. All of us kept talking about what a dream it would be to have a place like this to escape to. ##### Charles G. If you are looking for a place to unwind and enjoy the back woods this is the place to go. My family and I spent the entire day sitting down by the river that runs behind the property and sitting out on the back porch. The home was equipped with games, fishing poles, and many more entertaining activities to keep you busy on your stay. My favorite activity was laying on the hammock reading a book!
