I didn't get his name, but a young man working on floor two outside noticed I wasn't finding my way and asked me if I needed assistance. I agreed, and he literally took control and helped me find my room work out whether it was going to work for me worked with the staff and the main desk to get me set up the room. Then we got all my bags out of my car and into the room. Made sure I was comfortable. He was very nice and helpful and professional. This was my first time traveling along with my Parkinson's disease. Was later that evening when I left my keys in the room, and he quickly politely helped me get in. I appreciate his help too. He was very kind and helpful.

Even though there is a smoking area provided. Guest seem to stand right outside the mid entrance area to smoke & talk loudly on phone at all hours of the day & night! And both nights someone sat in their car outside my room playing loud music after 10pm. The best part of the stay was the friendliness of the ladies that clean the rooms! They wished me a good evening or good night.. and asked if I was enjoying my visit.

Needs some work.
When we entered our room a strong musty, damp smell was present. We opened the windows, but being that we were on the first floor, we couldn’t leave them open. Three hours into our stay, our air conditioning unit shorted out and wouldn’t restart. We let the front desk know and they said they were going to call a maintenance technician to come and look at the air conditioner. Maintenance never arrived, and we asked to switch to a different room. The front desk attendant agreed to allowing us to switch rooms, but only after we insisted. The hotel is aging and needs a good upgrade and deep cleaning, but the breakfast area was very nice and the grounds were well maintained.

You should have rooms for people that are allergic to pets. We both had an allergic reaction because there must have been pets previously in the room. Everything else was good.

Vallejo visit
Hotel was noisy. There were people running around upstairs and in the hallway all night. Also a lot of freeway noise. I will choose a different place next time.

A bit disappointed
I booked this room at this price for two reasons: 1) free breakfast and 2) it stated it had a hot tub or spa. Breakfast was great, they even had an espresso type coffee maker in the lobby 😊. The room was clean and comfortable as well as the hallways and other public areas. But ….. the hot tub was another story all together. The jets did not work and the water was not clean. We notified an employee and she sent a maintenance person to check it out. When he got there he said unfortunately the jets were not working before even checking it out. Mind you I called ahead and asked if the hot tub was working and was told yes indeed it was working. He proceeded to clean the floaters from the water and check the temperature. After he left I went to check it out. It was hot, but the water was still not as clean as I would expect it to be. He cleaned out the floating bugs and leaves with a net but there were still smaller particles floating in the water that a net maybe would not capture. So that makes me think that not only were the jets not working but the filtering system was not working either. Needless to say we did not get to enjoy the hot tub. We could have stayed elsewhere for a less expensive price and not had the use of a hot tub so …..
