The home has a full kitchen, full bathroom, and washer/dryer. The home also has a private yard and off street parking with high speed internet and WIFI. The home is located less than 3 minutes from the airport! Unwind in this beautifully remodeled little cottage in West Fairbanks. Whether sitting outside in your private fenced-in yard or getting comfortable in the well-appointed interior and watching a movie on the flat screen, you will find that this little home has it all! When you arrive, there will be cold bottled water and snacks waiting for you along with a Keurig and pods and a regular coffee pot for coffee. We also stock other snacks like oatmeal, chips, noodles, and granola bars. The kitchen is fully stocked with full selection of large and small appliances along with all of the cook and bakeware you will need to prepare delicious meals. The home has been remodeled from top to bottom with a new kitchen and bathroom, LED lighting and hardwood and carpet floors throughout the home. There are two smart flat screens TV\`s in the home with high-speed Wi-Fi to sit back and relax while watching your favorite shows and movies on Netflix and Hulu. The one bedroom has a queen bed with a quality mattress and bedding, and a full-size washer and dryer. The sofa with a chaise lounge folds out to become a full size bed for two. If you are travelling with little ones we do have a high chair at the home, and pack and play available upon request. The home is located on the westside of Fairbanks and is close to downtown, grocery stores, The University of Alaska Museum and other local attractions. Chena Hot Springs is about 1 hour away and Denali National Park is about 2.5 hours away. The bus line and bike paths are just one block away! Making sure you have a completely enjoyable stay is our highest priority! Entire house, driveway, and front yard. We try to make sure each guest has everything they need when they arrive for a comfortable stay. We send out an electronic guidebook loaded with local information and strive to make sure you are familiar with your surroundings and how to find things. We are available when needed and welcome all respectful guests to book our home. Nice safe neighborhood close to the airport. It’s small but it’s all you need. I came to Fairbanks for a job interview and this place was a good bit cheaper than the surrounding hotels. Communication with Tera and Bobby was excellent. The bed and her couch bed were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and the best was the couple cold bottles of water and a little bin with a couple snacks. This worked perfect to tide us over until we were able to go get groceries!! It was very clean, had multiple outlets, fast WiFi, plenty of hot water and it was just a fabulous stay. We came for the Northern Lights! This involved multiple night tours and we didn't rent a car. Some tours would only pick you up from a hotel but we wanted a place of our own with a kitchen so that we could cook. We were within an easy 5 min walk of LaQunita and felt safe enough walking there. The Getaway was a perfect size for us with everything we needed, except a mixing bowl. Yup! That's all we needed! The empty wooded lot next door in the snow a was beautiful bonus to our views. Approximately 10 inches of snow fell during the night. I thought I was going to have to shovel the walk and drive. We went out for a shopping session, and when we return two hours later, the drive and walks had all been shoveled.
