A Note About Power Alaska’s weather can be unpredictable, and outages do happen. But don’t worry — our automatic generator kicks in the moment power goes out and keeps things running smoothly until the lights come back on. We had an issue with hot water on our last night but the owner was very quick to call me! Unfortunately we had a lot of rain during our stay so we didn’t get to use the outdoor furniture but it looked very nice and I imagine it would have been excellent to relax on! It was very clean and seemed brand new. Owners are attentive and very easy to work with. They had thought of everything. Location is perfect - close enough to town to enjoy Fairbanks but remote enough to feel private and quiet. The cabin is located in a beautiful wooded area. It is super clean with a fully stocked kitchen. All three bedrooms are very comfortable. There are many board games provided that we played in evenings. I can’t thank Meyer’s enough for providing detailed guidance for Northern light watching which was our main purpose of the trip. The cabin is nicer than the pictures indicate!! We had the Northern Lights 5 out of the 7 nights at the cabin and all we had to do was look out the window and stand on the porch!!
