The couple provided a family environment that I have never experienced when I stayed in hotels or motels. The breakfast was different but wonderful every morning. The location is about 20 miles outside of Fairbanks. But if you are in Fairbanks to see aurora, the distance is perfect. The sky was not polluted by city lights and we sat in the backyard to enjoy the fantastic view of the northern lights. (If we stayed in a hotel in the city, we could pay up to $75/person to take shuttle to a remote place to take the chance, and you would not know how many times you have to travel.) I was allowed to use their boat on the creek behind the house. It was the most relaxing hours I had in the whole trip. Simon provides excellent hospitality. She texts me one day before to confirm my arriving time and asks me if I need any asistent for direction. The room with river view was awesome. I can enjoy the beautiful view in my bed and while eating breakfast. This ended up being a wonderful suprize. First ever B&B .Very Nice People Clean room I was looking for. My Boy and I got to go on a canoe trip. Very Quiet . Just flat out love it . This beautiful b&b is definitely the best one I have ever had the honor of staying at..it.
