The VRBO advert only showed interior pictures, and none of the exterior or neighborhood. For personal safety reasons, we chose to forfeit our money, as we decided not to stay at this property. It turns out our concerns were right, as there was a shooting that weekend, just walking distance away. As well as a police raid on a suspected drug den. Once inside, though it was clean, it was not what was advertised. This is not a 2 bath, it’s a 1.5 bath, and one of those is very small. The washer and dryer were coin operated, in a very dank basement. It is also not a house, as we thought it would be. It is an apartment. After leaving for a meal and returning, we could tell someone had been in the apartment while we were gone. Left at that point, as there were no ways to secure the doors other than the electric lock.
