"This was a great place to stay. Walking distance to most places."

"I had a great one-night stay at the Whitehall. The room was well-appointed and very comfortable. The hotel is run by Sotherly and they had some nice touches - lemon cookies in the room, a veteran-focused foundation that they make you aware of, etc. The 1st floor bar, with an outside space, looked awesome. I just didn't have time to visit. The location is fine - a little on the outer edge of that side of downtown. I was close to my venue, so it was perfect for me. The only thing to note is that one side of the hotel is facing the highway. If you are sensitive to outdoor noises, you'll want to request a room that is not on that side. I sleep pretty hard, so didn't notice it until I woke up."

"Everything was great except for the shuttle service. We waited for 45 minutes and then when the tiny van showed up there were 30 people trying to get on board for a ride.
PLEASE GET A BIGGER SHUTTLE!!!"
