"This is a lovely cottage in a quiet neighborhood and tiny village. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the house. The kitchen is well appointed, although we only used it for light breakfasts. We had fabulous weather, so we were able to enjoy the outside deck and sea air. "The Lake House was beautiful and clean. It was a great spot to start all our adventures traversing the South side of Iceland. We arrived later in the day and had a bit of an embarrassing mix-up with our directions. However, Renate was very nice about us driving into the horse training area, sorry again for that. She was also very responsive to all our needs and our stay was just wonderful. We did not see the Northern Lights, but that may just mean we have to go back. Next time during a month...

"The barn house was a peaceful base camp for exploring the south coast. We enjoyed the hot tub. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The most well stocked property I have ever stayed at with cooking supplies, laundry, and bathrobes. The large window skylights, lighting, and infloor heating created a cozy place for our family to enjoy. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely vacation home with tons of amenities and beautiful views. The kitchen was topnotch and well stocked--tons of pots, plates and glasses. The hosts had even provided salt, pepper, sugar and coffee which was much appreciated. The bath towels were very new and very soft. Ample closet space throughout the home. The host was very accommodating and provided a crib and high chair for us to use for our little one. "This wonderful home has it all. It is centrally located to all the wonderful attractions in the South Coast. Very spacious, but warm and inviting. The gourmet kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of hiking. We were able to see a wonderful Northern Lights display with the wide open land around us.
