A part des randonneurs que l'on peut croiser assez régulièrement le hameau est vraiment très tranquille. Comme on peut le voir sur les photos du site il n'y a pas de vis-à-vis depuis la terrasse devant l'entrée. Pour profiter des alentours il faut compter une dizaine de minutes de voiture sur une route assez étroite mais pittoresque à flanc de pente avant de rejoindre la vallée. Il est possible également de randonner depuis la location sans problème. Pour information il faut compter une demi-heure pour rejoindre le plan d'eau d'Embrun et un quart d'heure pour une base de loisir à côté de la Durance. Le logement est accueillant et très bien équipé. Seul (petit) bémol pour moi: un tuyau venant d'une ancienne cuisinière à bois passe à environ 1,70m du sol près du coin cuisine entre 2 pièces. Je me suis cogné assez régulièrement car il n'est pas naturel de penser à baisser la tête. Belle expérience globalement. ##### Jean-Michel R. Les 7 km de petite route balcon, sinueuse à souhait, nous ont conduits sur le hameau de GROS, 7 maisons (3 sont occupées à l'année), près des Dieux à 1400m, vue imprenable sur les vallées du Guil et de la Durance. Objectif surpassé ! 2/ CHANGER d'environnement dans l'espace et le temps. Maison authentiquement restaurée (volets-porte "creusés" par le temps, parquet clouté, plafonds voûtés, cuisinière de nos grands parents, grande table chêne ...). Grande propreté. Nous avons retrouvé nos ancêtres avec les moutons, mais avec l'essentiel de notre confort moderne. L'épaisseur du silence en cadeau. 3/ PELERINAGE dans ces 2 massifs qui ont charmé notre vie ( nous approchons 80 ans) : le Queyras et les Ecrins. Que de changements dont le recul du glacier blanc. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au hameau de Gros, la maison est très agréable, extrêmement propre, et avec une vue magnifique. Claudine a été très sympathique, nous a donné des explications très détaillées pour l’arrivée, nous nous sommes vraiment sentis bien accueillis même sans se rencontrer physiquement !! Très bien située pour visiter le Queyras, Risoul/vars ainsi que la vallée. Nous avons adoré prendre le petit-déjeuner et le repas du soir sur la terrasse à la fraîche avec une vue splendide. Nous voulions un petit coin de paradis et nous l’avons trouvé. Vraiment parfait pour notre petite famille, nos 2 garçons de 5 et 8 ans se sont régalés dans ce petit hameau au milieu de la nature.
