I did not like the extra charge to check in early. If a room is available and ready no other hotel charges this. Room was large and comfortable.

Parking garage was at least 1 block away. I was told to walk through an alley to get to it. This isn’t very safe at night. Also I called the day before and requested early checkin. I was told 2:00 will be fine. I get there at 2:00 the room isn’t ready. I was told it will be ready in 20 to 30 mins. Not true. We had to wait over an hour for our room.

Thank you for your review. We certainly do our best to honor early check in requests. Our check in time is 3pm, but we will certainly try and get you in early if possible. This does depend on what time the guests from the night before leave, and unfortunately they did take their time checking out that morning.

Great area, close to everything . No working TV in the room. Charged us the full amount for less than what was promised on the site. Working toilets at least.

We did want to remind you that you declined moving to a different room of the same type that had a working TV. I have checked your folio and there are no other room charges other than what you paid directly to Expedia.

The hotel was conveniently located where I needed to be. Check in was smooth. The rooms were clean and well kept up. The bar located in the hotel was small, but served the purpose to get a drink. (However if you wanted to venture out on the town, there are several places to satisfy what you are looking for.) The breakfast was the usual complimentary meal you find in many hotels, but this was prepared exceptionally. My only issue would be the parking. There were no spots left in the small hotel parking, so I had to park in the municipal lot one block away. Overall, I had a nice stay and would definitely book it again when I’m in that town again.

I didn't appreciate an extra $25 charge to park in the attached garage vs parking in a public garage for $5. Then having to walk through an alley or around the block with my bags.

Thank you for your review. All parking options are outlined on Expedia when making a reservation. We also allow guests to unload in the loading zone so they do not have to take their luggage across the street.

Beautiful hotel in downtown West Chester
We loved the hotel. We were visiting family so we didnt get to spend much time at the hotel but what we did see was great. Beds were very comfortable and the room was clean and fresh. Love that they use organic soap. We definitely are coming back.

Good afternoon. We are sorry we we unable to accomodate a refund for your early departure. The payment was done directly through Expedia, and we do have to follow Expedia guidelines when it comes to their reservations. Their policy states "Less than 2 days prior to arrival, All cancellations are charged the full cost of stay.". We do hope to see you again the future, and hope you book directly with the hotel for the most flexibility. Have a great day.

This property is very tired. You could pay for parking but with so few spaces you couldn’t take your car in and out for fear of not getting a space on return. They also charged for a noon check out instead of the 11:00 standard time. I’ve never encountered a fee for an extra hour. They also have an in-house bar, I would not recommend visiting.

Hello. We do not sell more parking spaces than we have. If you booked a spot at check-in, that spot would still be available for you later in the evening. We do also offer a 4pm checkout on Sundays for 25 that is a popular option for our guests. Parking is limited, adjacent city parking garage was full but staff helped making a space in their 25 parking space garage. No modern USB outlet in room so make sure you have a charging block. Location is very convenient, the hotel and room was clean, the staff was very helpful.

I loved the location. I pulled in late around 12:30 am. 25.00 to park - or drive around the block to a big parking structure for $5, No on street parking. I thought I was going to get a historic boutique kind of hotel experience - to me the place was pretty bare bones. Kinda a bit outdated and shabby. I guess it’s all relative to what your used to. The bathroom had the cheapest plastic cups. The shore was a nondescript remodel. Breakfast and coffee - was free- but not for me.

Thank you for sharing your experience. On street is available throughout the borough, you just need to be aware of the parking restrictions in each area. Free, overnight, street parking can be found about a block from the hotel. We are also planning a renovation. We hope to welcome you back to see the changes.
