Logement sur pilotis avec cuisine équipée et chambre indépendante. Vue sur la rivière depuis le balcon : très sympa ! Petit restaurant à proximité et épicerie dans le bourg.

un charme suranné
J'ai beaucoup aimé cet endroit, un peu à l'écart et avec vue sur l'eau depuis la spacieuse terrasse. Outre la chambre et la salle de bain, les logements comportent un salon / salle à manger assez vaste ainsi qu'une petite cuisine. Moustiquaires partout, ce n'est pas joli mais c'est efficace. La réceptionniste était très sympathique et m'a donné de bons conseils pour les visites. J'ai fait une balade en aéroglisseur (Spidy) puis la croisière organisée par le parc national, qui aborde un autre aspect des Everglades. À noter: le restaurant de crabes à côté de Spidy. Il ne paye pas de mine vu de la rue mais c'est délicieux. Attention, il ferme très tôt le soir (vers 18h30).

Lit petit, de manière générale l'appartement n'est pas de première jeunesse. Aux alentours peu de restaurant. Bref le prix est surestimé.

Très belle vue sur le lac
Très belle vue sur le lac, endroit très calme et fabuleux pour des amoureux de la nature. Logement spacieux. Très bien situé pour la découverte des Everglades (nord ouest). Naples à moins d'une heure de route avec escale possible pour quelques trails.

Bien que cet hôtel soit un peut vieillot, sa situation et sa disposition le rende vraiment intéressant, dans un cadre magnifique cet hôtel nous à vraiment séduit par son charme!

Great view on the water - watched dophins swimming by and many birds. Very nice cabin. Had all we needed for our first visit to the area. comfortable beds. Kitchen well stocked. Convenient to all local attractions. Great staff - very friendly and helpful.

Relaxing Everglades base
We had a great 3x nights stay here - initial feeling is that is it a bit old school, but this adds to the charm of the place. We made use of the fishing poles to fish off the communal dock (you can buy bait across the road / next door) - as novices we still caught lots of catfish, snapper and crabs. There a number of laid back restaurants in town, most close by 8pm. Porch was great for breakfast as the sun rises - also grabbed a hearty breakfast from Nely’s Corner at the EFC across the street.

Wonderful place to stay! Loved the enclosed deck to sit and have a meal and watch the wildlife and river. Could use a couple more staples like salt and pepper. But all in all a great place to stay!

If you are looking for a small hometown feel. Just to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is not one single thing in this town or at River Wilderness that will disappoint. We will definitely be going back if we could leave tomorrow and we just got back we would go!

The location of this property is fantastic. The views over the lake are incredible. It’s a great base to explore the Everglades. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Very misleading
Way overpriced for what you get. Media pictures show a pool on-site which is not. Was told on 2nd day of visit that several properties share a pool at another location. No housekeeping services during your stay. Went to get clean towels from office and no one there during posted office hours.

What a cute, comfortable little place. I loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the wildlife. We even saw dolphins. I would stay here again anytime.

Cozy and quiet stay
Very relaxing stay in a comfortable, roomy, “cabin”. Especially enjoyed the proximity of the lake, as well as the nature in and around it! Also loved the restaurants right across the street. Free canoe rental with the room was too tempting to pass up! Would definitely stay here again, but next time bring fishing gear!

It was the perfect peaceful getaway.,Loved sitting out on the back patio watching and listening to birds and wildlife.Mornings are so serene and quiet,watching the sunrise with coffee,and watching a big gator swim by,and dolphins swimming by.Evenings were especially interesting,we heard barred owls,herons,and even a bobcat.A well needed nature getaway.Such a hidden gem😊

Very peaceful and relaxing! Unfortunately the beds were not. The kitchen stove was very old but everything worked. Would like to have had Kleenex in bathroom. Regarding the amenities, they neglect to tell you that the outdoor pool is located on ANOTHER property and we could not find it. Don't know about the on-site laundry.

I don't want to leave a good review because I want this to remain a Hidden Gem hahaha but seriously this place was amazing. Every unit is different. The majority of them have been updated. They are timeshare units and owned by individual owners. If you don't get a good bed in one unit that is not to say the next unit is not going to have a fantastic bed. Our bed was perfect. Very safe quiet property. Being on the water is fantastic plenty of wildlife action even alligators floating down. Within walking distance to restaurants and convenience store. We will be back again.
