We loved Marco Island and it was a perfect family vacation thanks to the Hilton . The staff was outstanding . I would definitely return to the Hilton for our next vacation.

Nice hotel on beautiful beach

Posted 24-Apr-2016
The Hilton was a nice hotel in a perfect location on Marco Island. Right on a gorgeous beach and across the street from a handful of nice restaurants. The hotel staff couldn't have been nicer. The rooms were a good size but could use a little sprucing (which I heard was taking place this summer). A very relaxing stay.,..

Great location on a beautiful beach

Posted 20-Apr-2016
Friendly staff...great location and convenient for families. The walking distance to area restaurants was a plus. The hotel was overall great but I'm sure it will be even better after the renovations they have scheduled to do in a few months. Pricey drinks and food but that is the case at all the hotels in that area. We are definitely looking forward to going back!

Bathrooms require urgent maintenance .

Posted 16-Apr-2016
Pros: The pool facilities and close proximity to the beach was great. The restaurant staff and food were a very high standard.
Cons: The bathrooms require urgent refurbishment. I think it is a disgrace that we are paying to stay in such dirty conditions.
Location: Everglades, shopping malls, good restaurants.
We were assigned our first room which looked directly onto a building site which we were not informed about. The first towel I was about to use had makeup stains on it. The shower also leaked onto the floor at the sealed? part of the shower screen. We then requested a room change which was given to us but the new room was not available until the following day. We accepted this and the move was done for us by the staff. The only other time my husband and I have ever requested a room change was another Hilton hotel, Dunkeld Hilton. The next room had a very large rusty area on the bath where you stand to shower. I have stayed in many hotels and have never experienced anything like this. Fortunately there was a bath mat to cover the area. There was also old toothpaste stuck to the wooden area of the bathroom vanity area. Both rooms also had a strong musty, damp smell. We couldn't be bothered with another move so complained about the second room as we left the hotel, not to return again in the future. The staff denied any knowledge of the severely rusting bath tub but did say the hotel is closing over the summer for a few months for the bathrooms to be refurbished.

Dear Stella, Our deepest apologies for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. We want to thank you for bringing these issues to our attention so we can concentrate on correcting them efficiently and effectively. We always strive to provide 5-star service and are dismayed to know we were unable to follow through. We would love the opportunity to “make it right” in true Hilton fashion.

Hotel stuck in the 70's

Posted 16-Apr-2016
When I paid $495 per night for this hotel I expected top notch hotel with upto date amenities, but was disappointed when I got there. First of all the stay was peaceful and comforting, it is a relax atmosphere where a lot of older folks go to relax, though there were some families with kids there, the staff is great and pleasent, and they keep everything clean and neat, the SPA was fantastic and upto date with technologies, I didn't got to visit the fitness area so I can't say anything about. But this Hotel needs a lot of renovation done, thereally are many areas that need to work on. The handrails on the walk way are coming off with old wood, the handrails and post by the Paradise Cafe looks like is about to fall, it was leaning outside cause of rotten wood below, the furniture is outdated in the restarants, there are only 2 restarants there in the resort, and the food was basic what I can get local cheap buffet. The Hilton did manage to buy some new TV sets for all rooms this year but with only 1080p resolution, but worse part is they were sending cable signal with RF coaxial cbale, so same resolution from the 70's, our would need to put tvs 100ft away to get those pixels out from eye sight, This Is 2016, 4k tvs, come one guys get with the program, and those old hotel phones from the 70's come one guys, I went on honeymoon, 13 years ago and stayed at another hotel, and used the phone to control lights, fan, shades, touch screen, please update that garbage. More too write

Overpriced......................

Posted 13-Apr-2016
Pros: Staff
Cons: Price per night should include breakfast and at least have a good mattress
Location: Lots to do but poor hotel took the wind out of the trip
Totally disappointed. Embarrassed I spent the money I did for a hotel that can't offer free or at least reasonable priced breakfast buffet. Every hotel I stay in while working offers free breakfast, some of which are IDENTICAL to what I was charged $24 per person for.The bed was so bad that I didn't sleep much and came home will sever back pain. Had to pay $20 a day for an umbrella at their beach....really! Place is a rip off that should be avoided. Next time I'll try the Marriot

Nice hotel on the beach

Posted 9-Apr-2016
Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Good pool. Good location...on the beach, shops and restaurants within walking distance, more shops and restaurants within a short drive. Water/sport activities as well as some activities for young kids. Spa on site as well. Building under construction next door so there was some construction noise.
