Hotel stuck in the 70's
When I paid $495 per night for this hotel I expected top notch hotel with upto date amenities, but was disappointed when I got there.
First of all the stay was peaceful and comforting, it is a relax atmosphere where a lot of older folks go to relax, though there were some families with kids there, the staff is great and pleasent, and they keep everything clean and neat, the SPA was fantastic and upto date with technologies, I didn't got to visit the fitness area so I can't say anything about.
But this Hotel needs a lot of renovation done, thereally are many areas that need to work on.
The handrails on the walk way are coming off with old wood, the handrails and post by the Paradise Cafe looks like is about to fall, it was leaning outside cause of rotten wood below, the furniture is outdated in the restarants, there are only 2 restarants there in the resort, and the food was basic what I can get local cheap buffet. The Hilton did manage to buy some new TV sets for all rooms this year but with only 1080p resolution, but worse part is they were sending cable signal with RF coaxial cbale, so same resolution from the 70's, our would need to put tvs 100ft away to get those pixels out from eye sight, This Is 2016, 4k tvs, come one guys get with the program, and those old hotel phones from the 70's come one guys, I went on honeymoon, 13 years ago and stayed at another hotel, and used the phone to control lights, fan, shades, touch screen, please update that garbage. More too write
