Pool House: Adjacent to the main house, the pool house is a cozy studio-style retreat, complete with a queen bed and a queen pull-out couch, ideal for additional guests seeking privacy. There is no elevator. \-No smoking allowed inside the property. \-No parties or events are permitted on the premises. \-Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets at Lostman's Lodge. \-A washer and dryer in the main house make it easy to keep up with laundry during your stay. \-Our calendar is only open 180 days in advance - if you do not see the dates you are interested in and it is more than 6 months out the dates will be available for booking and just do not show on the calendar yet. We brought our 3 children (18 mos, 6 years and 10 years) and family friends who are avid fishermen. The house, location and host were all amazing. Lostman's Lodge is perfect for kids and adults who love to fish. The pool and hot tub were wonderful (the pool is huge). The dock is large and the kids made memories of a lifetime fishing from it every night for hours. The house is beautiful and comfortable (the kids loved their loft for sleeping). The guesthouse is also big and comfortable if anyone desires privacy. The location is at the mouth of the Barron River- its the best spot I've stayed in Everglades City (I've been coming for 30 years). The host was gracious and helpful as to where to fish and explore.
