Basic place to stay in Everett, WA.

Posted 16-Oct-2017
Pros: Secure place to stay.
Cons: Better signage to find after Garmin gets you there. It is behind Holiday Inn and difficult to find in the dark.
Location: City stuff.
Nothing unexpected happened. Great beds. Basic hotel.

A Pain To Find, But Worth It

Posted 14-Oct-2017
Pros: La Quinta standards met!
Cons: Signage to find the place!
Location: Lots of fast food and a few nicer restaurants in walking distance.
There are no good signs that will take you off the interstate, onto 4th and then into the maze that will finally get you to the La Quinta... you actually have to go through the Holiday Inn Express parking lot! But the hotel is up to all the La Quinta standards - good staff, nice breakfast, comfortable rooms. And the price was absolutely a bargain! Hopefully when the remodeling is done there will be better signage to get you to the hotel.

The hotel was very hard to find. We drove passed it twice, then had to call for directions. It was behind a casino, restaurant supply, another hotel and then we found it. The address doesn't match the location.

Stay away

Posted 1-Sep-2017
A really poor location, difficult to get in and out of, very few places to eat (other than fast food) within miles, and the hotel is run down.

Nice motel but very hard to find

Posted 21-Aug-2017
Pros: I liked the elevator, the eggs, sausage, waffles, and the neighborhood. The staff and the rooms were nice.
Cons: Please put up large colorful signs so we know where to turn off the main road and how to find the motel. It is very hard to find this motel.
Location: It is in a good area of town but it is hidden by Holiday Inn and is very difficult to find. They need large colorful signs to help us find it.
The staff was nice, the room was nice, the breakfast was good, and they had an elevator. It is close to gas stations and eating places. It is not far from the exit on I5. However, it is extremely hard to find this motel, even with GPS. There is no sign showing where to turn on the main street. Even when you know that you have to turn at Kentucky Fried Chicken and the casino, it's still easy to get lost in the maze of narrow lanes behind the casino. There is a small, hard to read sign behind the casino, but when you go that way, it leads you to Holiday Inn. It looks like a dead end. La Quinta is behind Holiday Inn, but you would never guess it was there. You can't really see it from the street. Also I never would have guessed how long it takes to get to downtown Seattle on I5 in the mornings. It is only 20 miles, but it takes at least an hour. I expected some traffic, but I have never gone 15 mph on an interstate before. This is not La Quinta's fault, but I will probably stay closer to Seattle next time.

Under Construction

Posted 19-Aug-2017
Pros: The staff was very friendly.
Cons: Just about everything needs to be changed. Hopefully, the construction will bring improvements.
I think a hotel should warn you before you make reservations that they are under construction. One of the reasons I stay at a hotel rather than with family is to use the pool. Closed. Parking spaces occupied by construction equipment. Noise during the day. This hotel is hard to find, tucked way behind other businesses, no direct route from the highway. Mattresses too soft. TV reception grainy. Breakfast minimal.
