This magnificent home sits proudly on 5 acres of private land, where the only neighbors insight are the towering maples, firs, and cedars. As soon as you arrive, enter the home through the front porch’s french doors before exploring your new abode.

After a day of hiking the nearby trails, lounge in the open living room as you warm your toes by the fire and pick out a board game or favorite movie. If you’d rather simply relax and enjoy the sights, long-view windows stretch the length of the living area, giving way to remarkable forest and river vistas.

Leading freely from the living area, the fully equipped kitchen comes complete with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, granite counters, and a kitchen island. Whip up a favorite culinary creation before gathering the troops around the dining table, or step outside to enjoy an al fresco meal amidst the wilderness.

Grill up your freshly caught trout on the gas grill and have an outdoor feast at the 4-person dining table on the back deck. The adjacent covered hot tub is encompassed by beautiful foliage and a sparkling string of lights, making this area the perfect place for privacy and relaxation!

Get a bit closer to the water by strolling down to the fire. Come nighttime, warm your hands by the open flame as you gaze up at the star-speckled sky and listen the soothing sound of the rushing river.

Once you’re ready to turn in for the night, sleep is sure to come easy in any of the 3 bedrooms, but you’ll have to fight over the bedroom suite, which features a plush queen bed, flat-screen Smart TV, gas fireplace, and en-suite bath with a jacuzzi tub.

Beautiful large house and property on the river
We had a guy's weekend here, hanging out, throwing footballs and frisbees in the yard, fishing in the river, and doing a fantasy football draft. The internet (a mobile WiFi hotspot) was spotty, and slow when it did work. The smart TVs didn't have antennas, so combined with the non-functioning WiFi, were essentially decoration. We didn't book it for the TVs, but it would have been nice to turn a game on. The hot tub seemed to be malfunctioning, consistently ramping up to 108*F despite our attempts to cool it down. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Gold Bar home
This home is even more lovely in person. It is spacious, well-laid out, and perfect for large families or groups. The mud-room entry allows for outdoor gear/shoes to have a place before entering the beautiful home. It includes full-size washer/dryer and plenty of room for shoes on racks. The large kitchen gives a comfortable feel automatically, which carries through the entire home. Seating is plenty, couches are comfy, and beds are nice also. The bathrooms are spacious and the master Jacuzzi tub is wonderful. The movies, puzzles, games, coloring supplies are well stocked for kids and adults. There are many windows to allow in as much light as you like--the blinds are automatic, which is a great touch. The views of the property are great and the river is only a short walk from the house. The front fenced yard is perfect for kids and pets with a huge front porch, while the back yard has a large lawn that leads to the river. The vaulted ceilings are amazing and the tall, rocked fireplaces really add beauty to the home. Our family felt right at home with room to spread out and relax. We stayed during the summer and the property provided a lot of outdoor fun in nature. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again next time we are in town. The owner was very responsive and communicated well. An earthquake occurred during our stay and the owner even reached out to make sure we were all okay. Great home in the woods--highly recommend.

Pleasant Stay
We visited for a week in Spring and the location was great. It was close enough to Stevens Pass for skiing, the wineries, and the city for site seeing, with the feeling of a remote getaway. Being right on the River was beautiful and the scene from the the big windows was majestic. The house was stocked nicely, although missing some things that we were accustomed to like a toaster, big cooking pot and place mats for the table. We made due, so not a deal breaker. The beds were comfortable, but would have enjoyed some dressers, since we were there for a week. The hot tub was also a nice feature after a long day skiing. There was no cable, the internet was supper slow, but this did force you to wind down and disconnect. My biggest suggestion for improvement would be a new couch and clean the carpet. There were mysterious stains and an odd smell, that were a huge disappointment. But other than that we had a great stay! Thanks for everything! We would recommend.

Extremely spacious, secluded, clean, great location!
Out of the countless number of cabins I've stayed at with my friends, this was definitely one of the best. Even though the place was HUGE, everything was super clean, which is not the case for a lot of spacious cabins. Bathrooms, kitchenware, the outdoor grill, furniture, etc. were all very clean. It also had a Nest thermostat, which was a nice extra. The location is prime for a trip to Stevens Pass. ~50 minutes to the cabin from Seattle and ~40 minutes to Stevens. It makes the drive feel short both ways. The cabin is also right next to everything you need. Super market, rental shop, and an amazing brunch place (Sultan Bakery) all within 15 minutes' drive.

Great house for a big family!
Plenty of room for 10+ people, good kitchen amenities, great movie selection! It rained most of the time we were there but we still had the chance to get out into the yard and explore the river. That was a highlight. Great stay!
