"We really enjoyed our stay for 3 weeks at this home in Evanston! Great location with a GARAGE and LAUNDRY room (which is hard to find at this price point in the area). Close walking distance to coffee shop, restaurants, post office, and downtown mom & pop shops. About 30 minutes from downtown Chicago (without traffic) and 25 minutes to Niles. "Husband/wife/teen needed a place for a weekend stay near Northwestern. The teen slept on the couch and was comfortable. Street parking was never a problem. It IS a basement property and you can expect some noise from neighbors above, but it wasn’t overly intrusive during our stay. Host very responsive and accessible. Worked out great for our needs."

Thankfully I was the only one in the bed, as it had a person-sized divot in the middle from all the previous occupants; new mattresses or at least turning them would be a plus. "We loved this sweet apartment in downtown Evanston! It’s super-close to the L (Dempster), Trader Joe‘s, and great places to eat, and is equipped for light cooking if desired. Immaculate, too. We plan to stay here whenever we visit our son. Easy access to keys, well-secured building, safe area. Just great!"
