Private Hiking Trails Summary: Experience the ultimate Ozark getaway at Lawson's Lost Hollow. This secluded house, located just minutes from Eureka Springs, offers stunning mountain views and direct access to private hiking and biking trails. Enjoy the serenity of 156 acres with a 180-degree view from the deck, and gather around the new gas fire pit. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, this pet-friendly home is perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts seeking a memorable vacation. The Space: Please read this entire listing before booking. It is essential that you read the details to ensure that this property will meet your expectations. Please make sure the amenities that you expect are listed. We do allow dogs with the following rules: Dogs are not allowed upstairs, the flooring on the stairs and the second floor is not pet friendly. We do have a gate at the bottom of the stairs to keep dogs downstairs. They must be on current, veterinarian prescribed flea and tick medicine. When left unattended they must be crated. Any zoomies left in the mowable part of the yard must be picked up. We do not allow dogs in the beds or on the furniture. We do have a propane firepit on the patio for you to use, and we provide the propane. Coffee - Each of our cabins comes equipped with a drip coffee maker, along with pre-portioned coffee and filters tailored for your convenience. Additionally, we offer creamer and sugar to enhance your coffee experience. Should you have a preference for a particular brand or coffee accessory, feel free to bring your own along for your stay. 6 Person Maximum occupancy\* 50% deposit due at time of booking, and the balance due will be processed automatically 30 days prior to arrival. (100% may be due at time of booking when using 3rd party booking agents and not directly through our website). Pet Friendly – Direct approval required before booking. $50/pet/stay (2 pets maximum/50 lbs or less) Must be crated or kenneled if left unattended and must be on a current veterinarian approved flea & tick treatment. Unauthorized Pets will result in a charge of $150 plus the required pet fee. Please contact us if there is any change in the number of guests that will be staying at the property. It is very important for us to know the number of guests in case of an emergency or natural disaster. Guest Access: You enter into a two story great room with a gas fireplace in the living room and a beautiful well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a beautiful large granite island that seats 6\. The kitchen was designed with the cook in mind. A 2 door and 2 drawer refrigerator, 5 burner gas range with center cast iron griddle and double ovens. There is a large double bowl apron front farm sink as well as a dishwasher. Complete the appliances with a built in microwave and coffee maker. You are ready to prepare a feast. On this main level are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Also, on this level is a closet housing the stacked washer and dryer. Upstairs is a loft entertainment area overlooking the great room and the Master Suite. The Neighborhood: Be awe inspired from high up overlooks to the secluded lush hollow. This is a large property on Beaver Lake, the only neighbors you could have a good chance of seeing are of the furry and feathered variety. With plenty of deer, rabbits, squirrels, fox, bald eagles, geese and other birds and the Ozarks being home to many animal species, you never know what you might see while exploring our miles of private hiking trails. To the West takes you along Beaver Lake frontage and to the East you will find cliffs, caves, springs, waterfalls and creeks. This is truly a gem tucked away in the Ozarks. Getting Around: With the private hiking or biking trails, gourmet kitchen, grand view we do not see a reason to leave. If you choose to explore the area we are only a short drive away! \*15 minutes to Eureka Springs, AR \*60 Minutes to Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport \*40 minutes to Starkey Marina \*25 minutes to Holiday Island Marina or Holiday Island Golfing \*60 minutes to Downtown Rogers \*30 Minutes to Hobbs State Park \*25 Minutes to Withrow Springs State Park \*20 Minutes to Madison County Wildlife Management Area The drive to Lawson's Lost Hollow is incredibly scenic. This drive is a steep gravel road. We discourage low riding sports cars. We highly discourage motorcycles because of the terrain. A high clearance AWD or four wheel drive vehicle is recommended and four-wheel drive in inclement weather is necessary. Other Things to Note: There is wifi, streaming services available on the Roku interface (with your own account) As with all Vacation Rental Properties, Guests acknowledge that activity on the Property carries with it the potential for injury due to unfamiliar terrain and layout. The topography in the area has frequent changes in elevation requiring steps and walkways that conform to the landscape, therefore, please use caution and familiarize yourself with all areas of the property. We keep the property maintained, although, all liability is waived and you are accepting the property with no assurances. Emergencies are very rare, yet, it is smart to be prepared for inclement weather, natural disaster, or injury when traveling. The Christmas décor was such a thoughtful touch and made the space feel extra cozy. The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed, including a Keurig, Crock-Pot, air fryer, and even body wash and shampoo in the bathrooms. There was plenty of space for our family, reliable Wi-Fi, and we loved seeing wildlife—an eagle and several deer—during our stay. Walmart is about an 18-minute drive away, which was convenient. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is definitely recommended, as the last couple of miles to the property are steep and gravel/unpaved, but the privacy and views were well worth it. Guests can hike a couple of private, well-maintained trails on the property. The access to Beaver Lake itself (from one of the trails on property) was not ideal—a trail leads to what appears to be a dry creek bed that was a bit of a rocky/muddy mess (in September) and when you pick through that to get to the water, it’s not not the prettiest part of the lake. If you’re looking for convenient lake access, this isn’t it. That aside, the house and surrounding property was fantastic! The house is modern and comfortable, with a great deck overlooking the woods—a perfect place to sip coffee and watch/listen for wildlife. The outdoor dining area, Adirondack chairs and propane fire pit are perfect for cool autumn evenings. There are two or so miles of gravel drive to get to the house. The listing recommends a vehicle with all wheel drive and I would agree. The seclusion is great if that’s your thing; you won’t see or hear any neighbors. It’s an easy 15 minute drive to downtown Eureka Springs. Would recommend for anyone wanting a quiet escape that is still in close proximity to the dining/entertainment options in town. ##### Allison D. The pictures do not do it justice. Mornings and evenings on the deck were so peaceful. The house is beautiful, and the hosts have truly thought of everything. Our grandkids loved the toys and coloring books. It is remote, so we cooked most of our meals and enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and the grill on the deck. A full spice cabinet and plenty of pots and pans make cooking a breeze. As others mentioned, it is a gravel road and you have to take it easy, but we had no trouble getting in and out with our minivan. If you drive a sports car, that could be a problem. It is so peaceful all you hear is the sounds of nature. Everything you need as far as cooking is there, pots and pans, mixing utensils etc. the beds are comfortable as is the couch. We stayed in the deck most of the time and just watched nature. Our little puppy loves it also. the dog pen is huge and she loves being able to run the trails were a little grown up and the grass was taller than her in some areas so we didn't hike much but that was the only downside.
